“My wife and I have used Brad at Custom Builders many times since 2016 when we purchased our home from them. We purchased our home while already under construction and had our first of many positive experiences with them finishing the construction to our tastes and design. Since 2016 we have had them do multiple big projects. A year after moving in, we had Brad and his team back to finish our basement where we added a full bath, office/bedroom with a built-in desk and walk in closet along with a large family room space aka man town. May 2022 was our most recent project, where we had them back both expand our deck and add a garage under the deck. We couldn't be happier with the results. “modular home. FEMA requirements proved a challenge with some of the house. the set area of the house was unattractive, so the G.C. and a site worker came up with an idea to enhance that area of the home. there was some wiring done incorrectly at the factory, all rectified by the site electrician. as a woman who was on the site daily doing my work on the house, the site workers were always respectful, polite and helpful. if i suggested something or told them something needed to be done, it wasn't an issue to hear it from me instead of the G.C. they all joke about my window with the list of things to be taken care of. everyone at this company has gone above and beyond to make our home perfect.”

“In 2013 we began planning our new custom built home. We knew we wanted a very energy efficient house so we decided to go for net zero. Our new house would combine solar panels with a highly efficient structural design resulting in zero energy bills. We knew what style we wanted but we needed a skilled designer/builder to incorporate all the features needed to achieve our goal. After interviewing multiple builders we decided to hire Nick Lehto. Nick was awesome to work with! He completed our home on time, within budget and with outstanding quality. He brought with him a team of incredible workers that were always pleasant and kept the work site neat and organized. We have now been in the house for almost a year and we love our high performance net zero home!”

“Tony was hired to be my General Contractor for the construction of my new home in Fairfield CT. I worked closely with Tony for over a year on this project. Tony was excellent. Tony not only ran and efficient and on time construction project but was also instrumental in giving my wife and I advice on what options we should consider as we looked at the various design elements. Tony brought his creative flair, practical design concepts and also meaningful ideas to help save both time and money. Since the project has completed Tony and I have become friends and we still talk weekly about odd jobs on the house or other enhancements that we are considering. In other words Tony not only goes above and beyond during the project but he will be around and available even after the project is all wrapped up.
