ANYBODY but Manuel Builder’s to build your forever home. Too many mess ups and NO one to take responsibility. On most Monday’s and Friday’s no workers would work. I had several meetings at the office and mess ups continued. They did not finish in time even though I was assured by the entire team.

Went start a building project with Manuels. We worked with Taylor for our home bid project information. We decided to cut some items out of our first bid. When Taylor got back to us with our final bid some of the prices went up as in doubled and tripled. Areas where we cut work back (instead of needing 2 tankless water heaters needing just want instead) price either doubled or tripled. Same with one or two other items we cut back on. We also wanted to use a certain insulation company because we were impressed with them. The spray foam insulation that Manuels uses I wasn't impressed enough with so I wanted to use the company we found. Taylor told me we were unable to do that.

Thank you for expressing your concerns and feedback regarding your experience with our company. We understand your frustrations with the miscommunication between your requests and our responses. The plan you selected needed some customizations to fit your lifestyle for your family, which required adding square footage. For your home to meet code, we were required to add a second standard water heater. After multiple bid reviews, we were able to lower your contract price to better fit your budget at your final bid meeting with Taylor. As for the insulation, we were willing to work with our insulation trade partner to use a similar product that you requested. Unfortunately, we do not allow phase credits for insulation. This is set in place to ensure all of our homes are up to our company's quality standards. We hope that is has given you a better understanding of the situation. my husband and I had manuel builders build our home! although it was a trying time for us manuel builders made us comfortable. they made it easy for us to choose what we wanted and needed! they are truly a team from the office staff to the workers in the field. we would definitely use them if we ever build again and we would definitely recommend them to everyone! even after we moved in and had any issues they were there to help

Manuel Builders from the start treated us like family with the help in building our first home from the ground up. We absolutely adore our cottage home in Laurel Grove. Working with Marie and our realtor Kelly Streva made it a breeze. Manuel offers quality products at a reasonable cost. You can see the quality difference if you visit a Manuel Builders home versus a DSLD home. Marie and the architect worked hand in hand to fit the housing plan we wanted on the lot we had to have. We even were able to modify the layout to fit our needs. By far, I would highly recommend Manuel Builders to any of my family and friends!

I built and moved in April 15, 2010 with Manuel. A week ago (5\17)my AC was not cooling. I called a repairman that told me he would not be able to service my AC in 2020 due to freon was replaced. I will need to buy both inside and outside unit in near future. After doing research my unit the government stopped production Jan. 1st 2010 on my unit before it was placed in my home. I called Manuel they said my warranty was 2 years and they did not know it was discontinued. Now instead of having a unit for many, many years I will have to pay for their mistake because as a single mom of a special needs child trusted this company. And they must of had a good laugh when I upgraded to a better unit. One that was only going to be good ten years.

We hired this company to build our home, and I could not ask for a better experience. From their sales person, to their on staff interior designer, to the contractor that worked with us the entire time, it doesn't get better than Manuel! We will be moving in in less than a month, and this has been a wonderful experience!

My husband and I are in the process of building a home with Manuel Builders and have had a fantastic experience so far. We're building a home in a subdivision in Lafayette, LA and chose from a selection of available floor plans. We were able to customize our home, both inside and out, to suit our needs and lifestyle. We never once felt pressured into a design decision just to suit the contractor and I felt like we've had total control over so many aspects of our future home. Selecting the design elements such as the colors and styles for every element of the home you can imagine was a breeze with their exemplary design center and helpful staff. We never dreamed we could have a home built in this stage in our lives (young, first time home buyers), but Manuel Builders has made this process seem so easy. Our home is currently being framed up and we can't wait to see the finished product!!
