“We could not be happier with our 1st floor remodel. Our experience with HomeStar was great! We had a traditional 70’s style living room/dining room with walls separating our kitchen & family room. We wanted a more open floor plan, more light, better use of space in our sunroom with a wet bar, restaurant grade kegerator, updated kitchen & an overall up to date smart house. We showed Bob what our dream layout might look like, he made recommendations and 6 months later we have a space that’s more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Bob’s eye for detail is nothing short of brilliant! My husband was deployed through the entire remodeling, I work as a nurse full time, we have an elementary school aged son & no family close by. I never felt we were just one of many projects the team might be working with. Bob, Craig & the team always made me feel at ease & never overwhelmed. They allowed my son and I to stay in the house during the remodel (not the case for 3 other companies I interviewed). I never felt uncomfortable or taken advantage of because I was the only one at home. If something unexpected came up & a decision needed to be made they felt more like big brothers helping me make smart decisions. Bob or Craig would make time every Sunday to let me know what to expect the coming week. Someone was at our house every day. At the end of each day they took the time to clean the area inside and out. I had so many neighbors mention how kind the team was & how impressive it was that our yard & house was kept so clean considering the amount of work they were doing. Bob & Craig never delay in returning an email or call. They didn’t disappear after the work was done like I’ve heard so many contractors do. As the house settled the 1st year they come by if we have questions or want them to take a look at something.”

“Many will tell you that looking for a builder online is the quickest way to get burned. We are happy to report that after finding David on Houzz, that was not true in our case. In fact - we feel that we found the BEST builder here on Houzz and would rate him 10 out 10 if that was an option. He was with us in every step of the way, from meeting with us to find land, to picking out door knobs - he never let us feel overwhelmed and was always there to answers our questions. David is someone who will listen to you and will help you achieve your vision. We built during a time of high costs and scarce materials. Yet we never dealt with major delays on things that would hold up the schedule and he did his best to keep our costs down as much as he could. He promised that we would be in by Christmas, and held true to his word - We moved in with time to spare and get a few decorations up. Building a home is one of the most stressful things that you can go through, and we can honestly say having David with New Rosslyn Construction guiding us through this process, was the best we could have asked for.
