John Matteson was wonderful to work with as was everyone at Matteson Custom Homes. We added on a pool and pool house to our property simultaneously, and he worked with our pool company to ensure the two projects moved along as seamlessly as possible. Since we wanted to keep much of the pool house uniform with our home, John searched out all the items we wanted to emulate, from the brick to the shingles to the woodwork to the doors (garage, exterior, and interior). He took care of all this himself so we didn’t have to worry about it. We also noticed John has an eye for detail. He suggested things we didn’t even think of to make sure the project turned out better than we had ever hoped. John was also a great communicator—always easy to reach via phone call or text whenever we had any questions. And he was quick to respond even when we were in the midst of the project and had to contact him frequently. This big backyard project went smoother than we could’ve ever imagined, and we are thrilled with the finished results!

John and Amy and their staff were so helpful in our kitchen remodel. Always available for help or answering questions. Made it a breeze and so very easy so we wouldn't worry. Would totally recommend them for a remodel or your custom build in Edmond.

I see a lot of heart, care, passion, and joy goes into these houses. As they are using infrared thermal imaging, spray foam, and even offering geo thermal and many more options in homes. As a customer I got introduced to the building science of the home and educated about how the home operates and what effects my comfort in the home. See this is important to me because I love my last house, but was always uncomfortable all the time. I was able to completely customize my house as Jim really helped me to see how their process works and Amy always coordinated everything which helped my build process to stay on time. I have been in my house a couple of months now and my gas and electric bills are awesome and my comfort is no longer a problem. I believe it the care and passion they took on my home. We had the priveledge of buying a Matteson Speck Home. We Loved everything about it. The design was new and refreshing, the attention to detail was like nothing we had seen.
