McCaffrey Homes

Bought a brand new McCaffrey home in 2007 here in Clovis. Numerous problems over the years that were addressed when we brought it to their attention, won't waste time here going through all of them right now. Last problem we had was with a window that broke; the balancer snapped which prevents the window from opening and closing. Called and emailed McCaffrey customer service regarding this problem and was told that the "10 year warranty" was up, if I want it fixed I need to pay for it. Well I explained to the rep that it wasn't my expectation that they "take care of me for life", it's just that this is the 5th window that has broken since I bought this home. In fact this was the second time that this particular window had broken, the first time was about 9 years ago. I feel that the window's are all potentially defective and for $438,000.00 I should have received a better product. Well they don't think so and told me that I'm on my own. Keep this in mind if you decide to buy from them

Bought a house from McCaffrey in 2017. They have a great sales team, awesome mortgage department and we have receive great customer service during and after the purchase. The process was easy and enjoyable. I feel like Mr and Mrs McCaffrey care about their customers.

They built us a beautiful home by the date promised. Have lived here 3 years with no problems. I would recommend them to anyone.
