My wife and I recently had a house build by MGM and were very pleasantly surprised about how smooth everything went. We had heard so many horror stories about how stressful it is to build a house. Additionally, we were pregnant at the time (baby to be born mid-way through the build) and living in a small (temporary) apartment since we had already sold our previous place. So, we were expecting a rough time coming our way. However, Taylor and the whole MGM team made the whole process so easy and really were with us every step of the way. From customizing the design to fit our requirements (baby + home office) to handling some unexpected surprises the town threw our way (not MGMs fault :-) ). We've now been in the house for about 8 months and can also confidently say that the building quality is superb. There were a few (very minor) items that we noticed after the fact but all it took was a quick text to Taylor and he had someone come out right away to fix it. We can highly recommend MGM for your next building project!

MGM has a solid, well-established track record of excellent performance and service. But more than that, the people have such integrity. I have worked with MGM on a number of jobs and see consistent dedication to the client time and time again. Yes, you're going to get a beautiful house. And so much more. The peace of mind -- that you are going to feel comfortable every step of the way because you're dealing with someone you trust -- is priceless. The MGM team are also excellent collaborators (which I *really* appreciate). This translates into direct value for the client because the entire team, not just MGM staff, works together to explore ideas and bring them to life cost effectively and smoothly. Building a home can be a challenging and stressful endeavor to undertake; even more so when doing it from 700 miles away. The MGM Builders team were fantastic professionals throughout the entire process. They made the process smooth and kept in constant contact with us to ensure we were aware of the project status. Their experience and insight helped us achieve the home of our dreams and reduce the stress of being so far away during the build. It is the MGM team's focus on the small details that make them a great team to work with; we couldn't have found a better builder to help us design and build our home. They truly helped us realize our dreams.

We initially looked at three prospective builders. As we got further into the discovery with the other two, MGM began to stand out. Mike was unassuming, honest and was willing to work with us on our custom plans. When building, you have to be ready for the unforeseen and you need to trust your builder to respond to the local dynamics and myriad of external factors that all impact delivery yet are often out of your direct control. The best you can hope for is a building partner that communicates early and often and provides mitigation options. MGM was great in this regard as well. The project management, the subs, the follow through, communication, honesty and trust were top notch. This was my first build and the experience with MGM made me wonder why I hadn’t done this earlier. The quality and final result was exactly what we were going for and the price was fair. I am happy to attach my name to this recommendation and highly recommend them.

We were initially drawn to MGM after we came across one of their home designs that ticked almost all of the boxes on our wish list. We had not yet done any research on local builders and hoped that the design we loved was matched with an experienced builder with a high standard for quality and craftsmanship. We were not disappointed. We found everyone at MGM to be professional, honest, and focused on ensuring that we were happy with our home. They take pride in what they do and they care about doing the right thing, not what’s easier or cheaper. Our project manager was Eric Hallee. His expertise and advice proved to be invaluable. He was in tune with our vision and we developed trust and confidence in his opinions and recommendations. Eric made us feel like we were his only clients and was always prompt in responding to any questions we had and in updating us on the progress of construction. We are confident that we made the right choice when we partnered with MGM. We feel so fortunate and grateful to have a beautiful home where we will make memories over the years to come.

MGM builders are top notch in my book. The fact that this is my 3rd home built by them (yes you read that right- 3rd) speaks for itself. The entire process from start to finish was as fun as you would imagine. From my original and off the the wall ideas, right straight through to my last minute changes, Mike and Taylor made me feel as though it was NO PROBLEM! My husband and I got the house of our dreams and more. We have been in our home for 3 mos. and if I call Taylor with a question or concern, he still treats me like I am the only client he has. Building a home is a journey from start to finish, especially as a first-time home builder. From the start, the team at MGM Builders made the process feel manageable. The tools they have put in place for their clients help organize the project from start to finish and provide a sense of ease along the way. The team was always responsive and patient helping us navigate and understand all the choices and decisions we had to make throughout the process. Our Project Manager Taylor was incredible and our saving grace as we worked to cross the finish line on our home. He is customer service driven and always has your best interest at heart. I never dreamed that I would be open to building because it always seemed too daunting, but having MGM Builders as a partner allowed me to enjoy the journey. Our home is beautifully crafted and we are so grateful we took a chance with MGM!

I can’t say enough about the phenomenal experience we had in building our dream home. I can't imagine a more agreeable home building experience than that which I have had with Mike and Taylor Manning. This was a major undertaking and a first for me. They took much of the stress out of it with their thoroughness, their wish to create a quality product in all of its details, their timely responsiveness and ease of communication, and their excellent referrals and coordination with them. MGM Builders was a great fit for our family. Their team took the time to listen to our vision and share ideas until we had the perfect floor plan. They combined our appreciation for timeless New England style with a variety of modern touches. We love that our home is inviting for our young children, but also a beautiful space for entertaining friends. MGM’s allowances were also a bit more generous than several of the other builders we met. We were able to stay within 3% of our contract price. You won’t find nicer people anywhere. The owners are responsive, honest and fair. The entire MGM team provided personal attention, guidance, patience and a little therapeutic humor throughout the building process. As amateur do-it-yourselfers, it’s fair to say we weren’t the easiest customers so it’s important to mention that we were consistently impressed by the quality of their materials and construction at every stage. We would highly recommend MGM Builders from framing to finish carpentry. They take pride in their work and make customer satisfaction a priority. We had a great experience!
