Mueller Nicholls worked with our clients to phase renovation work throughout the house so that the family could remain at home for most of the construction project. As a designer I have worked on several projects with this company. I find them to be professional in their relations with client, and designer. They are very thorough in providing a the best possible work environment between clients and their own team. The work they do follows the designer intentions, and does not try to promote their own ides over the designers. I am embarking on a complete renovation of a 1924 Craftsman bungalow. Every surface, every system needs replacing or upgrading. This is not for the faint of heart or meager budget.. It was such a relief to meet with/speak with MN. They understood I was overwhelmed, then focused on what would make this easier on me. They offered time for review with a firm principal and designer. They couldn't have been more generous and calming. After all, it's the process more than anything else that will break an owner during a large renovation. The MN reputation is unparalleled. You can't find a person in the Bay Area who is even remotely hesitant about their work or their process. I can understand why. There may be a price premium, but it's worth it in the end.
