I highly recommend working with Terry. He did an amazing job on our house. We built our house during the supply chain issues in 2021/2022 and despite many delays and setbacks with things out of his control, he continued to keep the house moving forward and presenting all our options to us. He was great to work with, answering my husband and I's questions (no matter how ridiculous they may have been) and communicating with me about when to pick out what item. He was very patient with us and very kind. I definitely recommend him!

Terry and his team provided top notch service, along with years of knowledge and experience that made building our home a smooth and nearly effortless process. If a problem or question happened to arise, Terry almost immediately had a workable solution. He was able to provide valuable information that saved us time and effort, starting with the planning process and moving through active building and completion. His availability to take phone calls when we needed him or had a question/concern was nearly immediate, and he always attempted to make himself available in person/on-site as soon as possible, if the situation called for it. Terry's subcontractors were hard-working and prompt-even working on Christmas Day to finish a time-sensitive job! Morcom Buildings office staff is equally as accommodating and well-informed. They were able to answer questions concerning bills and financing almost immediately throughout the process. We would highly recommend Morcom Building for any construction/building project!

We are very pleased with our home!! Terry built our house during the 2020 pandemic! As you might assume we hit a few delays in supplies but Terry kept plugging along! He always kept us informed! We had a few things we wanted to change during the build and Terry always jumped with zero complaints!! We felt like he was fair and always had the best attitude even when things got tough due to the pandemic! He helped us make decisions and was a joy to work with! We recommend Terry if your looking for a well built home by someone that treats you like family!

We were looking for a quality builder in the Huddleston , Va area and got lucky to find Terry. He is the owner and is one of the most honest diligent men I have met. From the beginning, the home building process was made easy as Terry is a great comunicater concerned with insuring we were satisfied with each stage of the building process. Most folks are concerned with the bottom line, price. Terry kept us apprised of where we stood and that we were right on the contract price. Being an interior designer, I have worked with many contractors over the years (in Massachusetts). Unfortunately, when we moved to VA I no longer had the great contractors I used available to me. We built a custom home using Terry Morcom and the experience was something I hope no one ever has to go through. There is a long list of reasons why, but if you want an on time project and a pleasant experience, look elsewhere. I have never had a builder/contractor give me so many excuses and take no responsibility for mistakes and rarely return calls/emails. Absolutely hire someone else.

Morcum Builders was absolutely the best decision I could have made in selecting Terry to build our home. Easygoing, professional and full of good ideas but no pressure to use them. We never requested anything that Morcum Builders did not address enthusiastically and to our complete satisfaction. His entire team was outstanding. I would highly recommend the Morcom company to anyone. They did a renovation of our main floor living after a water pipe broke and did major water damage. They replaced hardwood flooring, drywall, tile, the whole nine yards. They were very professional came to my job every day and finished the job on time.
