    “KC Custom Homes recently completed our dream home in Cordova on Canyon Lake. Our experience from initial contact with Ken Castro and his sons to visualizing our dreams with Rudy, the amazing home designer, were superior to all the custom home stories I had heard. The foundation was poured at the start of June and we moved in at the end of December. Our project manager - Jaime- worked from day 1 to stay on top of the build and ensure each step was done well. The entire process was a positive one and we believe much of that starts with the vision and work ethic of KC Custom Homes and those who work for this company. Were there some bumps- of course- but KC Custom Homes worked through each issue that surfaced. We are so pleased to be in our home and would welcome the chance to talk more about our experience.     “After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. They are a great team with Troy's experience and knowledge of the industry and Lisa's strong organizational skills keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and managing the budget. We are thrilled with our beautiful home and feel so blessed that we get to live here. Troy and Lisa were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone considering building or remodeling.”

    “Building a custom home can be quite overwhelming...so we were told! Decisions are endless and opinions change through the process. Our experience of building our first custom home was SO much better than what we had anticipated based on the horror stories you often hear of! Genuine Custom Homes was with us each and every step of the way and Karl was amazing to work with!!! His organization skills speak volumes for themselves. We were constantly kept in the loop of what the current status was and what we could expect to come and it was so nice to know that we had someone supervising our project who cared about our home just as much as we did! Karl was always in contact with us and set up appointments for us with his chosen professionals who already knew about our style before we even arrived to meet with them to discuss specifics. We were involved in the entire process and when we were not immediately available we had the confidence that Karl knew our goals and style well enough to make things happen as we would have them. We would absolutely recommend a Genuine Custom Home to our friends and family-- we have now been in our home for six months and from the date of move in we have not been disappointed! On top of that...Karl has been in contact occasionally to check in with us which is nice...it's not often you get taken care of after the completion of your project (sale)!”

    “Blue Horse Building is a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and well-managed construction company that we were happy to have worked with. So happy that we've already teamed up with them again for our next project. They truly embody a team effort and mentality that strengthens the architect-contractor relationship. This project was new construction restrained by a dramatic site as the house sat at the edge of a bluff overlooking the lake. Our team fought for every inch of the footprint to provide a fully programmed house, and throughout the process, Blue Horse Building offered tactful suggestions that met our design aesthetic. With our teams' collaboration, the result was a polished, budget-conscience house that fulfilled our clients' wishes. We look forward to the next project with Blue Horse.”

    “What started with moving furniture and noticing a soft spot in the carpet along the edge of an outside wall and a water spot suddenly appearing in the ceiling above it with San Antonio’s heavy rains of Sept 2018 started our journey with DMJ Restorations. Sam Hoffman was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us through the insurance process and, because of his efforts, we actually received more money than we might have received otherwise. We learned a lot along the course. We have been so pleased with their entire team for a multitude of tasks they did for us – roofing, demolition, construction, sheetrock, painting and carpet installation. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they were going to do (and then some), and cleaned up extremely well after themselves. All while respecting our home and its contents. They paid attention to all of the little details, some we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish. Would we recommend them to others? YOU BET and without hesitation!”

    “Brad Morris of G Morris homes built an amazing specially adaptive home for my family and I. I utilize both a wheelchair and 2 full prosthetic legs with mechanical knees in this home. It must conform both to ADA and VA regulations. There were many special needs and requests that would be considered out of the ordinary for most new home construction, some were also out of the ordinary for ADA and VA requirements. Brad was always able to accommodate me; we made many changes on the fly and Brad made it all go smoothly while adhering to the building code. He was also clear with what wouldn't work, why, and would always provide an alternative solution. He made many insightful recommendations that I would have otherwise not thought of.. Brad maintained constant communication with me in every regard of the construction throughout the endeavor and always responded in a timely manner. The speed and level of efficiency that which he operates is unparalleled. That, in combination with the fluidity of operations he maintained throughout nearly seamless transitions of construction phases, enabled a rapidly built structure of fantastic quality completed both on time and under budget. Mr.Morris also demonstrated superior skill when coordinating his solid team of contractors. His careful attention to detail was not only phenomenal but paramount to his success in building this home. Brad, my fellow Marine, has created a stout family home that will stand the test of time. I intend for this home be passed on to my grandchildren and beyond. We are all eternally grateful and I highly recommend Brad Morris for any residential construction needs.”

    “The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”
