“We are writing to wholeheartedly recommend Timothy (Tim) Strosser of Studio 810 Design as a designer and general contractor for home improvement. In 2012, we met Tim at the Philadelphia Home Show, and were impressed by Tim’s portfolio of previous designs and building projects. On his first visit to our home in the Philadelphia suburbs Tim impressed us again with his instant understanding of our home improvement needs. We wanted to build a new bathroom in a little-used space that was attached to our master bedroom, but Tim suggested a much better solution; building an addition to the house’s second floor, and placing the bathroom in it. This way we got a fabulously looking new master bathroom that is an envy of our friends and neighbors, and avoided a mistake of building a bathroom that would be to small and not convenient. Timothy also designed and built for us a mudroom in front of our house, completely redesigned and rebuilt our patio, and changed the siding all around the house. We are very satisfied with the quality of his design and workmanship of his crew. Tim is a very experienced project manager, and he worked hard to accommodate our specific requirements during the project and to adjust all the logistics accordingly. He was able to keep the project deadlines despite very unfavorable weather conditions, the climax of which was Hurricane Sandy. During the project we occasionally changed our mind regarding some details (e.g., selection of tiles), and Tim was always ready to either accept our new ideas or, when they were not practical, offer very good alternatives. During the project we developed a trusting, friendly relationship with Timothy and many of his crew members. We were so satisfied with our collaboration with Tim that, after the first big project was completed, we tasked him with a couple of smaller projects in our house (e.g., staircase renovation), and outside (landscaping).
