Nickerson Customs has completed several projects in our home. From small to big. EVERY time they have succeeded our expectations. They have completed every job within the time line and within budget. They were clear about costs of anything extra we added along the way so we could make the best choices. Their team and their trades are always very respectful and understanding of our family needs. Ana's interior design skills helped me visualize the whole project which just adds to the whole excitement. I happily, hands down recommend Nickerson Customs any chance I get. Trust and integrity is what you get. Every. Single. Time.

We would have given no stars but it would not let us. Numerous issues with this company. This was our first build and so many issues. Our house was built and we had water damage which clearly left mold and they said it wasn’t. We asked for things completed and they didn’t get done. Charged us electrical heat when we were not even in the home and the workers all got COVID and left the heaters on during the holidays. We the home owners asked for things not to be done that way and they stated it has to be that way as per code. Talking to other Home Builders that’s not the case. The worst experience of home building make sure you get your references from people on this company. Paid for things and they were never completed

We were fortunate enough to partner with Nickerson Customs on our double bathroom reno. Although our reno took place in the peak of Covid restrictions and delays, Brad did an outstanding job mitigating any potential complications and always provided a calm solution based approach. Brad aligns himself with trades that are courteous, professional, trustworthy and elite at their given trade. Thanks again Brad and team for bringing our vision to life as we are extremely happy with the results. We will be using Nickerson Customs again and would highly recommend them!

April of 2019 we hired Nickerson Customs to do a renovation/addition c/w a wrap around deck with screened in back porch. Brad Nickerson met with us several times to go over architectural plans, changes, questions, and to relieve us of any concerns prior to work starting. Excavation began on Oct. 28. Brad and crew are professional, skilled, punctual and courteous. All questions were answered promptly. The site was tidied up after each days work. Note: we lived in our home throughout the entire project : basement bathroom, laundry room, electrical work, plumbing, living room addition, flooring, the whole gamut! I can honestly say it was a pleasure working with Brad and his staff Ana, Matt (sight foreman), Sean and Scott, as well as his trades ( Excavator, Electrician, Plumber, Pipe-fitters,metal roofers, etc. ) We are so pleased with the end result. In the spring of 2019 we met, with architectural plans, Brad Nickerson of Nickerson Customs. The prospect of renovations and additions can be exciting and at the same time anxiety provoking. Brad soon released us of the anxiety aspect leaving only excitement for the process ahead. Work began late October 2019. Note: we lived in our home throughout the entire project ( excavation, basement renovation of bathroom and laundry room, extension of living-room, wrap around deck c/w screened it porch, and concrete driveway) Communication was seamless. Never was there a question or concern not answered promptly...ever. The entire staff at Nickersons, Ana, Matt, Sean and Scott, like Brad are young, personable, caring, skilled, and serious of purpose. The trades that Brad retains, excavation, electrician, plumbing, roofing, heating and A/C, siding and pipe fitters are also courteous, professional. Brad and his crew (Matt, Shawn, Scott) were the perfect fit for our kitchen addition...turning our 'normal space' into our 'favourite space'. After interviewing many contractors, we were totally comfortable and pleased with our choice to work with Nickerson Customs. They became part of our family....even swinging by to let out our new puppy! The guys were all excellent workers, and the positive relationship they have with each other is evident in their attitudes...which is VERY important when you have people in your home for any length of time. After finishing our kitchen in 2018 we didn't even bother to consider anyone else for our complete basement renovation in 2020...possibly the best thing to come out of that crazy year! Their attention to detail, ease in working through challenges, and willingness to really hear us made Nickerson Customs the best crew for our projects. We would, and have already, recommend them to anyone considering a project.

Brad and his team are exceptional! All aspects of our project were very well managed and executed - from help with ideas (both practical and art-of-possible) to making sure everything went to plan (timeline and budget) I was impressed with the Nickerson team. Before the first project was done I knew I wanted to work with Brad and his team on our next project. My scorecard for reference: Quoting, spend and invoicing: clear and transparent - 5 stars. Quality of products and craftsmanship: excellent, on budget and all of Brad's crew and trades are respectful of the work site and keep the site super clean and organized - 5 stars. Guidance along the way when decisions were needed, changes/fixes required: patient, helpful with advice and able to find workarounds and always accommodating and accountable - 5 stars. Final product - exactly what I wanted - 5 stars.

We would recommend Nickerson Customs without hesitation. You can see by the photos that the work they do is beautiful. What you don’t see is everything it takes behind the scenes to get to there. For us there is a service side to renovations that is just as important as the build itself. Brad Nickerson was open and honest with our questions, prompt in replying to us, knowledgeable on all aspects of the project and made himself available to us when we needed to see him one on one. These are the things you don’t see in the pictures, but they were crucial steps in the entire process. We love our home, so trusting someone to do a major renovation was hugely important to us. In 2016 we contracted Nickerson Customs to do a two story addition and exterior renovation on our Turn of the Century home. From beginning to end the renovation experience was excellent. We would recommend the team to anyone who wants to renovate or build a new home. The crew from this organization are all very courteous and respectful. If something wasn't quite right or to our pleasing, they worked out the details to meet with our vision. Communication with owner, site foreman and any member of the crew was fantastic and always provided quick responses and action on questions or requests. Financial breakdown of work was thorough, transparent and within the established budget! Nickerson Customs bent over backwards to accommodate some challenging design elements considering the historic nature of the existing house we wanted preserved. The quality of the work was superb with very few deficiencies which ultimately were addressed and resolved quickly. We made daily informal site visits to see the work in progress and the work in this regard was exceptional. During the length of our project we could always find details that had been completed that led us to the truly amazing transformation of our home. We can't say enough good things about our experience. Our renovation is complete but are also a little sad, as we had a wonderful working relationship with the skilled craftsmen who came to our home. If you want quality and class, go with Nickerson Customs. We definitely would use again and will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Brad was amazing to work with. We trusted him with a full-scale remodel of our newly-purchased townhome. He was in constant communication and worked hard to ensure our vision for the renovation was met. That was not easy to do because I am a bit of a perfectionist! The overall quality was outstanding and he was always upfront about any costs or changes to the initial estimate. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to contact him again for future renovations.

Nothing but highest Praises for Brad Nickerson and his crew. We hired them to do a big addition ( !,700 sq ft) to our existing home so this meant building a new house but attached to our present home which was not an easy task. Many hours of decision making and communication between Nickerson Customs and ourselves which was always handled with care by Brad the owner. He was always patient, calm and very pleasant to work with. Matt and Shawn, his crew where always very helpful in explaining things and fulfilling our vision for our home.
