Ryan Norman is an excellent general contractor with great organization and managing skills. All work was done in a professional and timely manner. We highly recommend the talented team from Norman Properties for their many unique and innovative ideas and superior workmanship. We are thrilled with the outcome. We purchased a home in need of a major remodel. Contacted Norman Properties and renovation began soon thereafter. Interior: Removed 2 interior supporting walls replaced with supporting beams, replaced all windows and doors, complete kitchen design and remodel, 2 bath remodels, added master bath and walk-in closet in master. Also replaced existing staircase and new hardwood throughout. Exterior: Removed and replaced siding, roofing, trim, and existing entryway and added large deck.

Excellent. Outstanding sub-contractors, user-friendly and very professional. It was very interesting to see the work done from start to finish. All the workers and sub-contractors made outstanding efforts to be very accommodating thru the duration of the project. The project head, Ryan Norman, was there every step of the way. Just can't say enough about the cabinet installer and the flooring and tile specialist who brought outstanding work to the table.

Overall I am very satisfied with the project. It took longer than expected, approximately a month longer, partly due to unexpected complexity of the tile work and partly due to an error in positioning of the tub which took several steps to correct. Despite this, I highly recommend this contractor and plan to hire him again to remodel my kitchen. The tile work was complex involving many pieces of small mosaic that the installer labored over with great care to get perfect. I think the project could have easily come out looking sloppy with a less meticulous person doing the tile and I was happy to wait the extra time to get the result I did. All of the people involved were professional, courteous, tidy, and did an excellent job. I was not charged extra for the extra labor, the error in the tub placement was corrected promptly and at no cost to me. I highly recommend Ryan and his crew and look forward to my kitchen remodel.

Ryan Norman and his company Norman Builders are wonderful. We can't say enough good things about them. Anyone hiring them will be very happy with their work and how EASY they make completing one or more large home projects. Ryan's company installed a new septic tank to replace a failed one and constructed a 2-story garage on a vacant lot across the road on adjacent property. We found Ryan's construction company on "Angie's List." We were living out of state in Los Angeles at the time, and Ryan completed the work for us before we moved. We bought the small house in NH which needed major work - and is located on a small lake. So the projects needed "special" treatment in order to comply with environmental regulations & zoning laws. These were the first big construction projects we've ever done. We needed a lot of "hand-holding." Ryan was absolutely fabulous and helped us quickly with each step. He was always available and answered emails promptly. He explained everything as we proceeded. For example, Ryan found some ancient trash & a large tree stump buried on the lot and emailed pictures to show what was happening. We got regular pictures emailed to us, as the work proceeded. Ryan also patiently handled questions coming from the local neighbors living along the street next to the NH house. We decided to add rain gutters to both sides of the garage to mitigate any water run-off issues. It added a tiny amount to the cost estimate, but we wanted our garage to be trouble free, for our neighbors. Ryan's contacts with our new neighbors during the construction were a BIG help to us, since we were not physically there - we were living on the West coast - during the construction. It meant a lot of emails back and forth, but this was no problem for Ryan. He was very patient and entirely easy to work with. Ryan handled all of the town inspections and followed up with neighbor queries. We can't recommend Ryan & his company Norman Builders highly enough. It was money well spent. We now have a beautiful new garage to store our things (since the house is only 1350 sq ft), and a brand new septic tank installed at our NH home. We will enjoy these improvements for decades to come, thanks to Ryan & Norman Builders. Thank you Ryan!

We hired Norman Builders for our project to renovate two full bathrooms and one half bath. This included a complete gut of the master bath with expansion into an adjacent closet space, custom tile shower, relocation of a toilet and plumbing, installation of a double sink vanity, and a new closet. I found Ryan to be very personable and knowledgeable. Throughout the project, he kept us up to date with the progress, timeline, and what to expect. He always responded immediately to texts, emails, and phone calls whenever I had any questions. Ryan was able to point us in the right direction to select cabinetry, tiles, granite counter tops, mirrors, shower doors, and plumbing supplies. Every single vendor we met and worked with per Ryan's recommendation proved to be very helpful, professional, and courteous. It was not uncommon to hear "Norman Builders? They're excellent!" after telling a vendor who we were working with. Additionally, the plumbers, painters, electrician, granite installers, and mirror installers were all top notch. The bulk of the work was performed by Dale and Lance, who arrived on time every single day. Their work ethic and meticulous attention to detail are beyond compare. Lance is an artist with tile! They were wonderful to work with, and a pleasure to have in our home. Ryan's estimate for labor costs was about $30,000. He also provided an allowance budget to give us an idea of what the total project would cost, which was very helpful. While our upgrade choices caused us to go over the materials allowance, Ryan did not exceed his labor estimate. Now two years later, we’re still enjoying our beautiful bathrooms! We wholeheartedly recommend Norman Builders and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

2 Bay Detached Garage w/ 2nd level - We were very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the speed at which the work was completed. Ryan's bid on the job was the highest that we got (and we did work together to get it down a bit), but I decided to contract with Norman Builders because Ryan gave me the impression that the project would be done to the highest of quality standards. And, at the finish, that is what we have. Every sub-contractor demonstrated great attention to detail and highly professional knowledge about their part in the garage construction. The excavators were highly skilled and nice, personable guys. Same goes for the framing crew. The garage floor came out just as Ryan had described, smooth and attractive. We are also very pleased with the quality of asphalt driveway. All in all, when I look around the finished garage, I feel good that it was built the "right" way...no shortcuts. I rated Norman Builders with an "A" on price, because one can't just consider the actual absolute price...one has to consider what you get for the price. This is what we know as "value". To me, I was looking for the highest quality for the money and I think that is what Norman Builders delivered ! I highly recommend Norman Builders, not just for the high quality of workmanship and value that you will get, but also for the easy working relationship that you will develop with Ryan. Ryan Norman was very helpful from start to finish. All details of our renovation were discussed and considered throughout the entire project. Ryan was conscious of our budget as well as our goals and was able to make everything work. Ryan was very responsive and addressed any questions that came up along the way. We are very happy with the entire experience and are thrilled with the end result of our home renovation!

We could not be happier with the total transformation of our entire first floor. We literally don't even recognize it anymore. It went from being dark and dated to bright, modern and beautiful. I've attached "before and after" pictures--they speak a thousand words. Ryan was a pleasure to work with from the day he came out to the house to scope out the job until the day he did the final walk through of the punch list items with us after the project was complete. He's very professional and easy to work with, responsive by phone or email, and does a nice job keeping the entire subcontracting crew running smoothly. They did everything from ripping up the old flooring, to installing new sub-flooring and insulation, installing new floors and baseboards, painting the entire first floor (including a brick wall, window sills, doors and door frames), gutting and re-configuring the entire kitchen, relocating and re-configuring the bathroom, installing a new window, installing new light fixtures and ceiling fans, updating our electrical and installing new appliances. I highly recommend them without any hesitation. We are planning another project next year and Ryan will be the first person we call.

: Ryan Norman and Norman Builders were outstanding from start to finish. We come in contact with numerous builders, remodelers, and building professionals on a daily basis and can say without hesitation, Ryan and Norman Builders are in the top 1%. They initially provided a quote that included busting through into the existing master bedroom closet and adding that space to the bathroom and then rebuilding a closet in the master bedroom. Ryan helped us realize that there still wouldn’t be enough space to do what we wanted to, so we asked for a scaled back quote, which we promptly received. Ryan patiently responded to every inquiry and was right on top of things in terms of response time. We asked about the possibility of remodeling a second bathroom at the same time and Ryan was honest, to his detriment, in his response. Every aspect of the project that was within Ryan’s control was handled superbly. The workers picked up after themselves, laid new plastic sheeting to protect the existing carpet daily when called for, and showed up and completed work as scheduled. We ran into an issue with a vendor we had chosen and asked Ryan to handle resolution for us. He did so with professionalism and effectiveness. Everything in Ryan’s control was completed on schedule and without cost overruns. We will definitely call Ryan when we are ready for our next project.
