Neal was the first builder we met during the Fall 2021 Parade of Homes. He was personable, professional, and informative without a hint of pressure salesmanship. We toured every other Parade home that year, but felt North Cove would provide the quality and care we were hoping for in a builder. Neal and his team did not disappoint! From initial planning meetings with Neal and Cindy, during the design and build process contacts with Elisha and Bryan, and finally throughout our 1-year warranty visits with Chris--every question and concern has been anticipated or promptly answered with a very helpful yet no-nonsense demeanor. Throughout the process Neal and his team offered suggestions based on their many years as professionals, keenly in tune with up to date building trends and excellent building products, but ultimately left decisions to us so that our home would be the home we wanted it to be. And it is! While North Cove has a full building schedule each year, we felt we were treated as if ours was the house that mattered. We recommend North Cove most highly and without reservation!

We had a phenomenal experience with North Cove builders, So much so that we are building a second investment property with them. Even with the pandemic nothing is too hard or complicated with their team and they will always help to ensure that your vision comes out correct. We had a very hands on approach as we wanted to make sure the house was perfect and they were very patient and kind to us as clients.... even when we could be slightly difficult. They are true custom builders and we would recommend them to anyone without any doubt.

I was going to wait to provide a review until after the 30 day punch list was completed but COVID-19 happened. We are very happy with our home and the process North Cove provided from start to completion. As with any new build there are always hiccups, but North Cove has stood behind their work at every occasion and we know they will when we are finally able to come back and finish off our punch list. We hired North Cove to build our new home after meeting Neal at the Parade of Homes. We were impressed with the quality of his work and his professionalism. We are extremely happy with the finished product. The entire team is very helpful and offer suggestions for everything. Neal offers suggestions along with his recommendations which was very helpful to us as we don’t do this everyday like he does. He kept us within our budget even with all the things we wanted. Upon meeting Neal, it was very apparent he was a knowledgeable builder and understood his cost to build a home. That is not the case with many custom builders that we interviewed. We engaged them in June 2018, started construction in September 2018, and it was completed late March 2019. The project was ahead of schedule and under budget. Construction quality is outstanding and offers a high value. Punch list and follow-up has been great. Working with Neal and his team Cindy, Elisha, Jason and Jeff has been a pleasure. They make the daunting building process very manageable.

We had a wonderful experience working with North Cove Builders. Before meeting the North Cove team, we were hesitant about the construction process because we were building a vacation house 3 hours from our home. From the very start, Neal and his team made us feel comfortable about the process. Each step was carefully organized and communicated, and the use of the Buildertrend program was very helpful. I’ve never seen a construction company as organized as North Cove. They provided consistent updates/pictures so we could see the progress. Everyone on his team was responsive and helpful, and we truly felt like we were receiving personalized attention. We love our new house! We just moved into our new home that was built by Neal and his team. I could not have asked for any more out of a home builder. The quality of work and "standard" options rival that of other builder's upgrades. They stuck to a strict timeline and budget. Overall the honesty and professionalism of the North Cove team and all his sub-contractors was outstanding. Special thanks to Cindy for helping my wife, and me.. with all the choices in colors and floors and all the other little decisions that need to be made. You really have and eye for flow, and the patients to try and figure out what each family wants. And Jason for putting up with the homeowner that want to know what is happening and for what reason, all the time. And thanks for the timely responses, even on a couple random Sundays.

North Cove does a terrific job - from start through finish and beyond. North Cove uses Buildertrend software which gave us, and them an easy way of communicating during the building process. Changes that we asked for during the building process were quickly taken care of. . We enjoyed the personal experience and individualized attention. Everyone with the company including the subcontractors were professional, helpful, friendly and wonderful to work with. They were very honest and realistic with the budget and the finish date. We love our new home!

Neal Kelley made our dream home come true. He was flexible with the design and floor plan, offered great ideas to stay within our budget, and worked with us to incorporate all our "necessary" items into our home. Neal and his team responded promptly to our calls and emails throughout the building process, and used an amazing app to keep everyone involved with the building of our home up-to-date with progress and schedules. He is the first builder we have met that had a schedule set up for the first year in our home to do regular check-ins and maintenance visits to ensure any issues after move in are addressed. He is and will be my first and only recommendation for building and renovation.

Building a new home with Neal Kelly and North Cove Builders was a pleasant and A+++ experience. 20 years ago we built a new home in Norton shores. The builder was a good builder except he had a hard time communicating what was going on and some of the work quality by his sub's was not 100%. With North Cove Builders the work quality was excellent, they all are very professional to work with and they also met the deadlines to get us in our home on time. They also are very helpful with ideas for your home as well. Neal also provides an assist coordinator to help you with each phase of the home project, which was very important to us to stay on budget. Neal is also a very honest man of high integrity, both my wife and I would highly recommend him and his company to build your home!!

We had a great experience building with North Cove. Not only did they stick within the time frame we initially discussed, but we came in right on budget. We also really appreciated the guidance we received when we had to make decisions on brands, features, etc. We didn't have a lot of knowledge in those areas, just knew that we wanted it all to look nice together and function far into the future. They were great at saying "here's what I'd do if it was my house" and we really appreciated that. We would highly recommend them - and would absolutely use them again if we ever move - though we hope to stay in our house forever!

We hired North Cove Homes to finish our basement and do a barn wood accent wall in our living room. Neal is fair and very straight forward. His crew works fast and was very respectful of our home. We were very pleased with the work they did and would definitely hire them again for future projects.
