Multigenerational Home Builders in Palo Alto

“Mayer’s construction did an excellent job of building a pergola that extends from our guest room with a tile roof including rain gutter and lights. All aspects of the project were done with great skill and surely will add value to our home as it looks as if was part of the original home architecture. The red tile roof is identical to our other existing roofing. Our project manager Mike had a great group of dedicated installers and followed our plan perfectly. I highly recommend them”

“We worked with Hugo from GoldenView Renovation on our full blueprint set and then completed a JADU build along with a full remodel of our main house home project. From start to finish, Hugo was outstanding in every way—professional, knowledgeable, receptive, and incredibly detail-oriented. It is truly impressive the way he listens to and reads every single question we had and always gave complete and succinct responses. In any residential construction project, challenges are inevitable—whether it’s navigating city requirements, managing plan revisions and inspections, coordinating with third parties and vendors, handling showroom deliveries, or working with utility companies on service upgrades—and Hugo handled all of it through the entire pre-construction and construction phase. He remained steadfastly professional, focused, calm, and goal oriented. What really set GoldenView Renovation apart was Hugo’s ability to manage every phase of the project seamlessly — from design coordination and city approvals to construction and final finishes. Communication was always clear and consistent; timelines were well organized, and Hugo was always available to answer questions or walk us through decisions on a daily and weekly basis. The quality of work exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall execution were excellent, and the final result looks beautiful. It is clear that Hugo truly takes pride in his work; he goes above and beyond in genuinely caring about delivering the best possible outcome for his clients. His team member Andrew also assisted in the process and was incredibly helpful and great to have on board as well. If you’re looking for a contractor you can trust for blueprints, JADU/ADU construction, new construction, and full home remodeling, I give Hugo and GoldenView Renovation my highest recommendation without reservation. They are truly exceptional. We would absolutely work with them again and couldn’t be happier with the results.”

“We worked with S2 on our modern style custom home project and are absolutely delighted with the results. From the start, the three-stage design process (floor plan, exterior, 3D) made what initially felt overwhelming so much more approachable. The team brought creativity and vision, proposing thoughtful design ideas that truly elevated our home beyond what we had imagined. Their ability to combine practicality with innovative touches gave us confidence we were in the right hands. Another major advantage of working with S2 was their full-service approach to permitting and consultant coordination. This saved us enormous time and effort and gave us peace of mind knowing everything was being handled professionally behind the scenes. The interior design process was also a highlight — well structured and supportive, with curated options that made decision-making enjoyable instead of stressful. Even with the natural challenges that come with a long build, their guidance ensured everything stayed cohesive and in line with our vision. While construction always has its bumps, S2’s role in guiding us through the process and keeping everything on track was invaluable. Their expertise and oversight gave us confidence throughout the journey. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the design, support, and professionalism S2 brought to our project. We would gladly recommend them to anyone and are happy to serve as a reference.”
