Todd Ching took great care in listening to our thoughts and ideas in developing our house design and was mindful of our budget. I hired Pinehurst to complete an 800 sq.ft addition to my house plus install new siding, new roof and new windows and doors for the entire house. Pinehurst were very professional and courteous with excellent attention to detail. Also, the sub-contractors they used were of equal quality. Most importantly the project was completed on time and on budget. There were no change orders or budget increases at the end of the project that I did not direct myself and receive confirmation on prior to the additional work being completed. Highly recommended.

We couldn't be more happy with our new house. Everywhere we look we see the attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Everyone at Pinehurst was always there to answer our questions and offer great advice when needed. Right from our first meeting to now we've always been impressed. Anyone who wants a quality built house on the surface and underneath should look no further. So many builders only pay attention to what you see these days, Pinehurst pays attention to every detail weather you see it or not. Our relationship with Pinehurst began in 2006 when they built my wife and I our first home. All the staff and tradesmen are friendly, approachable and willing to answer questions, and their work is second to none. What I appreciate must about Pinehurst, is that they are trustworthy which for me, someone who doesn't know ANYTHING about house construction, is really important. We so enjoyed the building experience and our first home that we built a second home with Pinehurst 2009. Over the years we have referred friends to them, and are presently engaging in a renovation project that will begin in the New Year. We are thankful that were put in touch with Todd way back and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. Because we would be residing in Ontario during the building process, we needed to find a quality builder with integrity--Todd Ching was our choice. We immediately felt very comfortable with Todd as he listened to our ideas and offered his expertise as well.Todd was very helpful and he communicated with us regularly during the entire process. We have been very pleased with the quality of our R2000 retirement home. Our neighbours have been envious with the service Todd provided after we moved in--their builders have not responded in the same manner. Todd and Pinehurst homes come highly recommended.

I would like to give Pinehurst my highest recommendation. Principal of the business, Todd Ching, is an architectural designer as well as a builder. He worked with me to come up with a plan that could be built within my budget and still hit most the points on our wish list – providing straight forward workable advice and support. The quote was clearly communicated and the house was built ahead of schedule and on budget except for some changes to the scope of work and overspending on a couple of the allowances . Pinehurst is committed to building a quality product and to customer satisfaction. The trades they use and their own in-house crews are excellent and clearly share the commitment to a job well done. Todd and particularly his building manager, Ric, were “hands on” through the process and really pleasant guys to deal with. To us it was almost unbelievable how smoothly and efficiently the whole project went.

Todd Ching of Pinehurst Homes very capably translated our vision of a new home into reality in a very knowledgeable, creative, caring, trustworthy and realisitic manner. The house was built on budget, on time and with high standards of quality. We received excellent service from the retailers he referred us to for the flooring, wiring, plumbing etc and were very pleased with the trades people working in / on our house. Everyone told us the same thing - Todd was a great boss and a great person to work with. We knew first hand the compliment was well deserved from the working relationship we developed with him throughout the build. All questions, emails and phone calls were promptly answered with enthusiasm and respect. We enjoyed the process and would choose Pinehurst Homes again in the future. Pinehurst Homes completed a rebuild of our home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We completely renovated the first floor, including a new kitchen and bathroom, and added a second storey with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house has turned out beautifully and everyone agrees that it fits in perfectly with the neighbourhood and went very quickly for such a large project. It was a true pleasure dealing with Todd Ching, the owner of Pinehurst Homes, who is a person of great honesty and integrity. It was wonderful to see our house progress on a daily basis, and Ric Archibauld, Pinehurst's Project Manager, did a great job of making sure that everything proceeded according to plan. The transformation of the house is incredible. On the financial side, there were no surprises and Todd always confirmed the cost of any changes before we went ahead with them, and then kept to that estimate. We understand from others that this is not always the case! Todd was very ethical. Overall, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend Pinehurst Homes.

I can't say enough good things about Todd Ching and his team. This was the second time we built a house and our experience with Todd was miles ahead of the other builder we used for the first house. With Todd, you get attention to detail on every aspect of your home. We viewed Todd as a trusted advisor, we had complete comfort that the final product would be as we envisioned. In fact, I can recall a number of situations where Todd saw a potential problem in our initial design and then came back to us with a number of different options that ended up being better than our first vision. The project was on time and on budget and any extras that we included were discussed in advance and priced accordingly. Customer service and quality is what Pinehurst is all about. If you needed something done it happened. If an issue came up it was handled immediately with no hesitation. We are proud to call Todd and his team friends and I would recommend him to anyone that is considering building a home. I've had people come to my door to ask who built the home and usually it ends with them taking a tour of the house and being amazed at the craftmanship. We had Pinehurst do the original construction of our home (2006) - and they did such a professional and fanastic job that we were more than pleased to have them undertake the renovation/finishing of our basement. We were not disappointed. They carried out their work in a highly professional, considerate (we were living upstairs!) and timely fashion. Their work was of very high quality and we found them to be very helpful in making suggestions regarding the renovation that ultimately proved to be very important. I would have them work on our home again without hesitation.

I have had two homes built by Pinehurst Homes and the quality of service and workmanship has been exceptional in both cases.
