this company strings along and then slaps you with a 60-page contract of the most complicated legal language. He himself doesn't even understand his own contract and has no idea of its contents, because it was a free one he downloaded online. Everyone we showed the contract to said it was crazy and it was for a large and perhaps commercial project, not for a home renovation. Also not until you are about to sign, does he say anything about a $50,000 deposit (not mentioned in the contract, and actually a holdback because he wanted to hold on to it until the end of the project) and his demand for commercial insurance covering him! which most home insurance companies will not issue (and which his contract's 3 page-insurance section says is his responsibility but again he has no idea what's in his own contract). If you asked him about that, he would write some word salad in an email without making any sense. Finally after his demands for deposit and insurance, per his own earlier suggestion, we hired a lawyer at $2500 to review his contract. The lawyer had many comments and we didn't think Mike would agree with them. We even told him he didn't have to agree with the lawyer's comments. But he didn't even have the courtesy of even reading our emails anymore, and very unprofessionally ceased communication with us. In the mean time, our project was delayed as many other contractors were booked. By the way, he also claims to be the "Owner" of the company, but the corp profile makes no mention of his name. Very unprofessional.

The Profile Custom Homes team delivered an amazing finished dream home, on-time and under-budget. They went above and beyond to ensure exemplary finishes and craftsmanship inside and out. From quoting every trade, spot on invoicing, availability, great trades and much more. We can't be more thrilled. We haven't hesitated to recommend them to anyone looking for a builder or renovation team. Thanks guys!

Excellent builder. Project built on time and on budget. Joel (and his team) return emails within 24hrs, mostly within minutes, even late at night or during weekends. He is professional, honest, dedicated, and meticulous. When problems arise during construction, he works with us to solve them in the best possible manner. If I were to build another house in the future, I would hire him in a heartbeat.

Thank you PCH! Profile came in to save the day after our nightmare with a previous builder. Joel and Mike were very understanding, and took on our project mid-way through construction, knowing the potential risk they were taking on. The level of service, communication, and professionalism we experienced with them was like night and day compared to our previous builder. Everyone at PCH was great to deal with and the job was completed on time, on budget, and with great results. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

I hired Profile Custom Homes to manage my build project in 2013/14. Recently listing themselves on houzz.com affords me the opportunity to review Profile’s performance. While a few of their trades did exemplary work, my biggest disappointment with Profile was in their site management, which allowed for many of their trades to perform work that was found to be substandard. This was confirmed by follow-up independent inspections I had to engage after key project components began to fail. Although Profile addressed a few of these deficiencies, the second round of trades still failed to repair some items properly. Profile ultimately abandoned the project before it was complete, even though their management fee had been paid. As a result, I have had to repair and in some cases completely replace major deficiencies while trying to finish the project myself. I therefore cannot recommend Profile Custom Homes, nor does my experience with this company support their website mission statement that “a Profile Custom Home is better because it’s built better…it’s built with pride.” Rather, I feel I fell victim to the type of builder Profile denounces on their website; “a builder…less than committed to perfection”. To me, this remark accurately sums up my experience with Profile Custom Homes.
