    “Ken Nicholson and his team did a phenomenal job on my major house remodel. They threw in many extras and went above and beyond. Ken and all the members of his team are excellent listeners and remember everything I asked for. The crew, including Morgan and Carlos, became like family as they worked in our home everyday. Ken stuck to my budget 100%. There was careful attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship. Ken always made sure to double-check with me before making any permanent changes. The entire team was very easy to communicate with, using email and text messages, and often sending me pictures of the progress while I was at work each day. The team arrived on time, every weekday, with no disruption in progress. I couldn't be happier or more pleased with my new remodel from Ruiz & Nicholson. I highly recommend this company.     “I met Chris when I was hired to build a custom shower he and his wife had designed. Walking into the near complete renovation project is was obvious Chris had great attention to detail. The tile I installed highlighted other colors in the master suite.... All the trims were fluent throughout the house, color schemes all seemed to work well together. All the hardware used in the kitchen, bathrooms, foyer to even the shower and lighting fixtures complimented each other nicely I thought. I have since done a few more projects with Ambrose Custom Builders and thoroughly enjoy the unique ideas Chris and his team come up with.”

    “After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. They are a great team with Troy's experience and knowledge of the industry and Lisa's strong organizational skills keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and managing the budget.     “I have used Jeanevra Calhoun and Ampersand Development on two occasions. First to sell one of my homes in 2015 and second to assist in updating, remodeling and leasing another in 2017-2018. She was attentive to both projects, very professional and personable. Jeanevra also has a terrific eye for design and made several suggestions that greatly improved the curb appeal for both homes. As I live out of state her hands-on approach, dependability and great communication skills were a tremendous help in the completion of the second project. I highly recommend Ampersand and will definitely use her again for any aspect of construction, design or buying/selling of real estate.”
