Clotek Construction. ""Very Important"" I found Carl to be trustworthy throughout his entire time on our renovation. The renovations on our old home started with a couple projects, but then we ran into some unforseen problems and we were very impressed with Carl's wide range of skills and knowledge and also his willingness to adjust his schedule to complete the project. No job was ever too small or too dirty for him to do, as he was always more than willing to attack any challenge that arose. We were very impressed with Carl's attention to detail and commitment to do the job right and not just rush through the job just to get it done. Our renovation required expertise in flooring, roofing, electrical, plumbing, finishing work, etc....and Carl was able to perform all of these tasks without issue. This saved us a lot of time and money as we didn't have to call other Trades people to do some of these jobs. We could tell that Carl takes pride in his work which leads to top quality workmanship. We hired MTC Contracting to redo our master bedroom bathroom. We took it right down to the studs and started over. The reconstruction was done in a very professional manner. All the people involved in this project were very polite, even as we made changes on the go, and worked with us suggesting changes we could make to enhance the final product. We were not in a real rush to get the bathroom done so they could schedule us around other projects they were working on at the same time. We had previously purchased a the vanity we wanted so once most of the work was completed and it came time to install the vanity everything fit perfectly in place. Some modifications had to be made when installing the shower as we had a custom bench installed and with the shower head we had purchased it had to be anchored to the ceiling, but this proved not to be a problem as adjustments were made on the fly to get everything anchored and working properly. We also had some special shower wall tiles they integrated into the normal shower wall tiles. All in all we are very satisfied with the end product and the professional manner in which all the work was done, right down to the painting.

When I was unhappy with a trade job, Nate and Dustin immediately handled the problem and had the job redone without any extra cost to us. I did not have to argue my case to the tradesperson; this was all handled by Nate and Dustin. Juri (Alair Carpenter) went above and beyond when he came to our aid for a basement flood unrelated to our renovation and helped to dig window wells. They finished on time and on budget, which was important to us.

Mike was actually recommended to me by a major house builder to do my drywall. Kelly did a super job and due to the other company not being available when I needed more work done I got Bella Rosa to do it. I got an estimate that was within my budget and time frame and went ahead with the work. Unfortunately I came down with a major health problem landing me in the hospital for 7 weeks and now Long Term Care. Mike took over the supervising and got the job done on time and on my budget. If he suggests something - DO IT. He knows what he is talking about. Prior to the final inspection I had a few neighbours and a tradesman I use to do a look on my behalf as I have limited mobility. . Unanimously they all came back with no problems at all. When my daughter did the actual inspection the jobsite was spotless and she couldn't find a single problem either. Thank you to Mike for fulfilling my vision. I could only see the finished product on a video my daughter made but I too was impressed beyond words.

When we approached Denver and Christie about building our new home they were eager to meet our wants and needs. They spend countless hours with us discussing colors, flooring and finishing. We put some pressure on them, as we were hoping to be in the new home by Christmas 2015, and we only decided to go ahead in June. Denver gave us a date of December 14, and he met it. As construction was taking place, there were several things that we either decided to add or change. Not once did they hesitate to take on the extras. Denver would also makes suggestions as to modifications, and when anything changed, he always let us know want additional costs we would incur. During construction, we were always kept up to speed as to what was being done, when it was being done and completion day. We were given a price to build, and it was met. Any extras that were quoted, were not subject to hidden costs. What they told us it would cost, that was the price. Denver and Christie are both very good at looking at a project, providing their input and following thru to get the results that all of us were expecting. I would recommend DC Legacy Homes on a heartbeat to anyone interested in having a top quality contractor build a top quality home.
