I have waited over a 1-1/2 years after moving into our newly built Ruebl home to write this review, knowing that for me, a review written far removed from the initial excitement of moving into the new home would carry more weight. It is those little things that you notice that begin to bug you after that excitement wears off that help you make a more reasoned assessment of the product. Yet, I can honestly say that if I were to build again, I wouldn’t waste a second looking for anyone else but Ruebl to take care of us and our project. I was quickly sold on Ruebl not only because it was immediately obvious that Jason and Bill were without question honorable men, but that everyone I ran into who had done business with Ruebl had nothing but great things to say about them and their homes. My wife and I wanted to build the home we dreamed about and planned for over 4 years. We wanted to work with someone that would make the journey a positive one. We made the right choice with Ruebl. Our process had some obstacles early on that were outside of our control, yet Jason walked along side us for months helping us resolve those issues so that our build could be started. As we built, Jason graciously allowed me to be involved in the process. I always felt like he was there to he was there to provide reasonable and sound guidance as our decisions were made. Since moving into our home in April 2017, Ruebl has stood behind their craftsmanship, resolving only a couple of minor and typical issues as soon as it made sense to. Everyone who visits our home admires the quality and design. The end result is that to this day, my wife and I enter our home and feel like we are living in a dream, knowing that as good as our home appears to be when you admire every detail, the structure that lies beneath those details was built with the same care and craftsmanship. My husband and I met with one builder. When we met with Jason we looked no further. We were warned that the building process can be stressful, aggravating, exhausting & relationship straining. Instead building our custom timber frame home was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. There are a few times in life when the project you imagine turns out to be as good as the one in your head. This one turned out better than that. If there were problems, and naturally there are always delays or changes but they were always dealt with quickly and diligently. I have a dream home that really is a dream!

Jason, Bill, Scott and their team became extensions of our family when we built with them. We couldn't be more thrilled with our new custom home from Ruebl Builders. We looked at several builders and toured many model homes before choosing Ruebl to build our custom lake home. The craftsmanship and quality of construction is unparalleled compared to what we've seen from other builders. Friends and family we have in the trades have commented that "they just don't build houses like this anymore". Building on a lake always creates additional challenges and choosing a builder who is knowledgeable and experienced in siting, permitting and compliance is critical. Bill and Jason are knowledgeable, caring, and high quality builders. They were very helpful and easy to work with. One of the things that struck me the most as we went through the process was the level of respect all of their venders and contractors have for them. I was even told by one of them that, they turn down work from others for the chance to work with Ruebl Builders because they are so great to work with. Out of all of the builders we do work for, Jason and Bill Ruebl are at the top when it comes to quality and craftsmanship. They are polite, responsive and easy to work with. Not to mention the beautiful homes they build! They also have one of the best job managers I have ever worked with in Scott. We could not be happier having worked with Jason and Bill Ruebl to build our first house. We interviewed 10+ builders, spent way too many hours at Parade of Homes and the like, but we were so lucky to have found such honest and committed people. They broke ground in Oct 2014, and we moved in June 2015. Ruebl builders used nothing but the very best materials. And their partner, Beth, as an interior designer was invaluable in the process. We were extremely particular about each detail from the plumbing system to the direction of the cabinet pulls, and they were patient all the way through. Jason was our primary contact, and he was so committed. He answered all our calls/emails immediately and made sure himself that things were being done right. Thank you both for all your efforts! We plan to stay in this beautiful house for a very long time.

There are many builders to choose from. Rest assured if you pick this one, you WILL NOT be disappointed. A pleasant experience from start to finish. Certainly not the least expensive builder, but the value is there in so many ways. They use excellent contractors with positive, industry wide reputations. Totally up front and transparent. Very patient as well. One could not ask for a more dedicated family owned company to do business with.
