    “Buying my first home, I was pretty nervous going throughout a full renovation but Ray gave me the confidence to go forward with it. In a market where everyone is seeing delays and problems, Ray was able to not only get the work started immediately but also made sure that It was completed few days before the agreed timeline. He was flexible in payment and terms as I needed to move some funds, fair in pricing, and ensured high quality of work. They pressure wash my entire yard at the end without even thinking about it or asking it. I highly recommend him and his teams and will look to use Devart8 again in the future.”

    “We hired Century Bay Builders to remodel 3 bathrooms and a laundry room. I was impressed with them right off the bat - the office called to confirm my appointment for an estimate and our awesome project manager Ariel arrived on time and was very professional, thorough, detail-oriented, and had a good sense of humor (very important when doing any remodel!). He was very responsive to emails and texts and always reassuring when issues came up. His crew (Carlos, Fredy, and Marcos) were courteous, meticulous, and did beautiful work. We were especially amazed at how quickly and cleanly the demo went and appreciative that they kept the dust to a minimum since we were living in the house during the remodel. Everyone always checked with me regularly to make sure I was happy with everything. The finished bathrooms are magazine-worthy and we couldn't be happier. When I'm ready to do my next project I'll be happy to work with Ariel and Century Bay Builders again.”

    “Sal and his team did a fantastic job on our kitchen! Our kitchen need a full upgrade - new cabinets, floors, countertops, applicances, lighting, etc. QA Builders were always professional and kept the job moving along so that it could be finished in a timely manner. Sal was very responsive and a great communicator when we had questions. Also, the team always showed up on time and left our place clean before they left each day, which we really appreciated. We are thrilled with how beautiful it came out, and definitely would use them again.”

    “First they came and give us an estimate that we really liked, we signed the contract to do the kitchen floors. Before they started the job I ask them to give me a price for the complete kitchen remodeling. again we liked the price and we signed the contract (BTW they helped us with financing the job). during the process we found out the electrical wiring needs to be replaced mike gave us very good price on that so we let them do it. they also gave us 3D design rendering that was great, we actually could see how the kitchen will look like.. Roy Mike and the team where very helpful they answered all of our concerns and even when we change things around they where very understanding and helped us to make our dream come true. we where very impressed when all city inspection pass at the first time. we love how our kitchen came out, it looks amazing like it came out of a catalog, its like living in a mention. we will use Baron construction again to do our roof in the in the near future. they did exactly what they promise and above. we are extremely happy that we choose Baron construction and remodeling to do our kitchen.”

    “During the 13 month construction our neighbors would comment, "Your contractors are doing a good job on your house and we're impressed that they are respectful of the neighbors. I like it that they don't play loud music and clean up every day." We were happy to hear that. We are even happier with the results. As the first house in Santa Cruz County to be built (technically remodeled) to the Passive House standards, we enjoy a very comfortable temperature throughout the house AND use much less energy than similar houses in the neighborhood. The biggest challenge was the air tightness requirement for Passive House certification. This was tested with a blower door to verify that the house achieve 0.6ACH50 (131 CFM in our case) which is VERY tight. Achieving this level of airtightness in the house that was originally built in 1922, where we kept the original foundation and framing, has not been done before. Santa Cruz Green Builders also installed the first Heat Recovery Ventilator in this area. The professional who came to commission the HRV commented that our installation was one of the better ones he's observed. So, the point of this paragraph is Santa Cruz Green Builders is not afraid to take on new challenges and achieve amazing results. When you hear the words "green building" it may bring the image of a certain contemporary aesthetic to mind. But our house has the curve appeal of a nice old house -- a 1922 bungalow that has the arts and crafts styling with details in the window trims and flared skirt look on the siding. On the interior we are very happy that Santa Cruz Green Builders talked us into keeping the original floors and refinishing them. The tight grains of old fir is appealing and the polished distressed wood brings out the period style. They carefully deconstructed the house so that original base boards, doors, etc. were re-used. We also selected finishes that reflects the old arts and crafts style. When people come to our house they can't tell what's original and what's new. We like that. True to their name, Santa Cruz Green Builders walk their talk.     “We could not be happier with the home Nejasmich Developments completed for us in 2020. Our daughter and her familty previously purchased a home Nejasmich had under construction. We feel fortunate that Matt and Dan Nejasmich were willing to build on our lot with plans we brought to them. They were extemely easy to work with. They tried to accomodate all of our requests. And, they were very creative in dealing with major design issues overlooked by our architect. Finally, they were quick to follow up to remedy the few problems we had after moving in. Their contractors had been with them for multiple projects and were very experienced in their fields. Matt and Dan have the highest degree of integrity. Threy are very professional and pleasant people to deal with. We have built four homes from the ground up in our past. We would put Nejasmich on the top of the list for any future projects.”

    “I initially called Boutique Home Remodeling for a bathroom remodel. I had a reference from a friend so I said I would try them. They came in on budget, very responsive, great quality and it was easy to work with them. After completing the bathroom I decided to give them the rest of the job and it was great, big shout out for Tai! Tai helped us out throughout the whole process and even when I went for a weekend to Tahoe I got updates and knew exactly what was going on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”

    “Worked with our architect to get the best design to salvage our great room that had extensive termite damage, rat infestation in the crawl space, and needed a seismic upgrade. Builder is a structural engineer and very experienced with materials and used high quality subcontractors. Good communicator, transparent with written bids, change orders and fees. Great supervision of his crews and the subcontractors. Very accessible by phone, provided updates on weekly schedules. Very flexible with changes in the work order and interested that we were getting the renovation we wanted. Quality work at a fair price.”
