This review is for a home that Schneider Custom Homes completed for me 1.5 years ago. I am still thrilled with the house and Dylan Schneider is a joy to work with. He is exemplary at prompt communication, collaboration, and sub-contractor management. Building a custom home is a challenging process, but you couldn't have a better partner in that process than Dylan. Inevitably there are unforeseen complications in any major custom home build, and it is at these times where one wants a contractor they can trust and who handles the situations with honesty, responsibility and integrity. Schneider Custom Homes is that contractor. I'm grateful for the work and support that Dylan has put forth in building this home.

After seeing the work done by Schneider Custom Homes on a neighbor's remodel, we gave Dylan a call. He was extremely responsive and a brilliant communicator. One thing that struck us right away is that he didn't need us to know contractor slang/terminology. He just stepped us through the building and selection process without getting hung up on semantics. Our project included demolition of existing outbuildings, building of a whole new 2-story garage with apartment, the addition of a porch to the existing house, and complete remodel of the exterior of our home. Dylan shows exceptional project management skills that keep things moving smoothly. He is responsive to homeowners' opinions and change requests. Also, any issues that arose they were dealt with in a very timely manner, which kept our stress level down and the project on schedule and on budget. Dylan is a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend him.

From the first call to the day we moved in Dylan was always available and continues to be available if needed. In fact, when I first called him he met us right out at our property that day. Dylan was very easy to work with and did a lot of extra, unique things to our new house that truly made it our home. He never made us feel like we were asking too much when we wanted changes, and there were many changes. We feel Dylan built a beautiful quality home at a very fair price. I would like to highly recommend Schneider Custom Homes for remodel, new construction, or any general contracting needs you may have. Dylan Schneider is highly skilled at what he does and maintained excellent communication throughout my project. He worked with me to add a covered front porch with concrete patio and a shingled roof tie-in. The project started on time and finished within the predicted schedule. All work was performed by licensed installers with permits filed through he city. All work passed inspection the first go-around. Schneider Custom Homes is a professional and responsible contractor that you can trust.

Schneider Custom Homes was fantastic in remodeling our bathroom and we absolutely recommend them. Our job was complicated by particular finishes that were very difficult to pull off properly. And, as a commercial real estate developer I am highly focused on the end product. SCH anticipated unforeseen issues, completed the project in a timely manner, and was cost effective. Working with Dylan at Schneider Custom Homes was a wonderful experience. We hired him to do a major bedroom renovation and couldn't be happier. He and his crew were on time, clean and professional. We had a lot of special requests as our bedroom was a custom project and Dylan delivered beautifully. All details including trim and paint were executed with a high level of craftsmanship.

We hired Dylan to build a very contemporary house on the Boise River. It was a challenging project where we ran into several problems during construction. Every time Dylan kept a cool head and found solutions that allowed us to complete the house of our dreams. He hires great subs, resulting in a high quality house, which we really enjoy living in. He listened to our concerns and tried to accommodate every request. His expense accounting is crystal clear so that I know exactly what we were paying for each feature of the house. I would highly recommend Dylan to anyone who wants to build in the Boise area.

I contracted with Schneider Custom Homes to build my home in Boise's North End. Dylan was very helpful in getting plans approved with the North End Historic District. Construction went smoothly and he was very responsive when the inevitable subcontractor issues arose. There weren't any surprises and he was quick to respond to minor issues once I moved in.
