Detailed, Pleasant, Prompt. We are still in the building phase of our home but if all continues as it has begun we will be very happy with the results. Steve has been with us from conception and is helping us with decisions that will guide us in getting the home we want to live in. *****UPDATE***** 5/15/15 Steve of Sienna Building, is a big guy with a big smile and an honest handshake. He is a zealous advocate for his clients. If something isn't done properly or a contractor isn’t performing to the specifications that they agreed to, he will accept nothing less than 100% compliance and 100% quality. It's very reassuring to know that things are getting done properly. There are so many decisions to make when building a home, choosing fixtures and finishes, where exactly the home would fit on the property…so much to do.... but it was so organized. The online system that Sienna Building uses is very helpful. It takes a little time to get accustomed to it, but is a great tool. Virtually all detailed conversation goes through the online system so it is easy refer back to at any point during the process. It greatly eliminates any miscommunication. If we had questions or concerns Steve always responded quickly. Questions were easy via the online system and phone app, the text message notification were really great on keeping us informed. Steve asked us at the time we were signing the building contract to enjoy the process. We tried to embrace that philosophy and we enjoyed it very much. In fact we are a little disappointed we are through. We think that in itself is a testament to the builder. In the end we have a new, beautiful home that we are very proud of, we call it our “Final Resting Place.”

We hired Steve at Sienna Building to build a home for us in Bend, Oregon. In discussions with him, we were impressed by his past building experience as well as his design expertise and have come to value his knowledge of green building. In the many discussions we had with him as we discussed the possibilities of the new house, he was able to incorporate our ideas, frequently modified by his suggestions, in order to produce computer-generated diagrams of our project that ultimately resulted in a plan that suited our needs. Also, we have appreciated Steve’s ‘open books’ philosophy in dealing with a client. Specifically, the online system he employs has allowed us to monitor the up to the minute construction costs of the project with the ability to ask pertinent questions as the building progressed. We have appreciated his ability to anticipate issues and create solutions. In our opinion, the quality of the work as well as the attention to detail on our project has been exceptional.
