Taylor Builders of Eastern Carolina

Taylor Builders put a new roof on our house. The material is a synthetic product made to look like a shake shingle roof. So it has considerable definition and is not as simple as a asbestos shingle roof. They did an excellent job. The roof looks great. Even more important are two things. First, they communicated with us at all times. We had this roof done in January/February 2014. We had a lot of cold days, some with snow and ice. The job took longer because you can't work on a slippery roof when it is below zero, thus the project took longer than anyone expected (but that was not Taylor Builders fault). They made sure we knew what was planned and communicated very well throughout the project. The second way in which they did an excellent job was that they were extraordinarily tidy. A roof replacement is messy by its very nature. We were amazed at how well they cleaned up every single day. No nails or roof pieces laying around, no worry about getting a flat tire, no worry about finding some junk in a bush or in the yard. One of the best parts of the job was that there was virtually no mess (except in the dumpster). Finally they were pros from start to finish. I would highly recommend Taylor Builders and Wesley Taylor for roof work. We have also used them for other work on our house and we have always been extremely pleased with the responsiveness, accuracy, and customer service.

Working with Wesley Taylor of Taylor Builders was an absolute pleasure! He not only is an outstanding builder but an extremely down to earth and overall genuine person. He built our first home and we could not be more satisfied! Wesley stayed in contact with us daily on progress with the house and kept us in the loop at all times. We highly recommend Taylor Builders and know we could not have chosen a better builder to build our first home.. our dream home!!

Taylor Builders put a new roof on my house a few months ago and it turned out great. They were fast, courteous, and did wonderful job cleaning up after the job. I would not hesitate to use them for any work I need done.

We had a huge deck/porch added to our screened porch. They built very nice detailed benches on the deck and steps the width of the deck. This was a first class job and we have had many compliments on the detailed custom look. LOVE my new porch.
