“I reached out to Bat City Builders for advice on my foundation. I have an old house with a brick/concrete porch on the front. The porch has been pulling away from the main house (It's the Livingroom wall), causing cracks along the drywall inside and cracks along the brick outside. I've been debating getting this worked on for a long time and just haven't been sure what to do. They took the time to give me advice on what I needed to look for when interviewing foundation repair services and ultimately gave me the confidence to get my home fixed. I'm very happy and grateful to have had the chance to work with them.”

“The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“We chose Sterling to build a custom home in Steiner Ranch (Austin, Texas) and are delighted with the end product. After 18 months, I still marvel at the construction and material quality. The house is simply wonderful. Yes, we did pay a bit more per square foot than other builders, but we clearly have a higher quality, better constructed home worth every dollar. I have since seen several of my neighbors go thru significant pain during and, unfortunately, after construction mostly associated with lower cost, lower quality subcontractors. You get what you pay for. From the very first meeting, it it was clear Sterling is FAR MORE organized than any one else we interviewed. Duke is clearly in charge of his company and has a great team. Gary helped us scout the area for lots and once one was selected he was all over getting the details to the architect. Sterling uses a build process that is very structured, highly documented, and focused on what YOU decide for your home. All you need to do is decide and tell Sterling at each step of the way. We went thru the process and adjusted the size of house to fit our budget given the level of material quality (windows, stones, floors, cabinets, etc.) we were set on. Duke uses a sophisticated cost modeling system to quickly tell you impact of room sizes, types of materials, trim details, etc. Once we said go, they moved! Sterling's construction process was stunning in both speed and quality. Trade contractors were long-term Sterling partners who you could had been in game for dozens of homes with Sterling and intended to do dozens more with Sterling. I cant' say enough about how Sterling's Cody is all over the job site details right from the start. It was never messy or trashy like some builders - you could tell they take pride in what you may never see. Vick and Cody would show us construction details that were simply top-notch (framing techniques, foundation details, electrical, etc.). “Kasper Homes built my home in Wimberley, TX back in 2012. I was still living in Wisconsin at the time getting ready to retire and left all the building supervision up to Rick Kasper. He did an excellent job with all the contractors involved and with me long distance. He would even give me advise on colors and tile combinations that would look great. He has quite a vast experience working with various sub-contractors in the region. He also is very conscience about his work. He always wants to do a good job like if it was his own home. I've had no regrets in his work.”

They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. They are a great team with Troy's experience and knowledge of the industry and Lisa's strong organizational skills keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and managing the budget. We are thrilled with our beautiful home and feel so blessed that we get to live here.
