Tidwell builders designed and built our custom home after losing our previous home to Hurricane Harvey. Jennifer and Mike are motivated, knowledgeable and meticulous. Despite building during Covid-19 shutdown, they were able to keep a tight timeline and source fixtures, appliances and materials without delay. I would highly recommend Tidwell builders to anyone looking to build or renovate their home.

Tidwell Builders, Inc. helped us change out our garage door (from two to one), add shutters, update electrical circuits in the house and several other items. The garage door was the biggie! But it is amazing! They stayed on top of things, were sooooo easy to communicate with and made themselves easily available for questions and follow-up. I would use them again in a heartbeat for any other remodel or building project I had.

Tidwell Builders did a fantastic job on our enormous renovation project. We added almost 1000 square feet to our second story, including two bathrooms, a master closet, a bedroom and a family/game room. The project was completed on time (4 months in total), on budget (the few items that went over estimate were of our own choosing), and most importantly was incredibly high quality. Jennifer and Mike deliver their work with a very personal touch - they were on site daily and always reachable by cell phone. They made sure every small detail was done right (e.g. asking the sheetrock guys to come back and resand the walls - which looked fine to the untrained eye, indulging my need to look at 10 shades of paint to find the right one). I would highly recommend working with Tidwell Builders.

We hired Tidwell builders to rennovate a few bathrooms. Their bid was significantly lower than other companies from which we requested estimates. That being said, the work was of the highest quality. The cabinets were custom built and really made the rooms. Jennifer was so easy to deal with and she was very responsive to our requests. We received a lot of personal attention from both she and Michael (who built the cabinets). We really felt like they listened to us to build what we wanted and not what was easiest for them. The job was done on time and withinn budget. We would hire them again in a New York minute. Very positive experience.

I am pleased to write this review after the wonderful work done by Tidwell builders. They did an extensive remodel of our entire house including a new kitchen and master bathroom. Jenifer (contractor) provided us with an accurate bid and stayed in budget and on time with the project. She also has the experience to give good advice and suggestions. She shops around for the best prices and watches your money. Mike Tidwell-her dad- is a master wood maker and constructed all our kitchen, gameroom, and bathroom cabinets and furniture. They are a great team and fun to work with. I would recommend them to anyone considering a remodel.

I am so glad that I hired this company. My house was finished beyond my expectations. Jennifer and Mike were an enormous help in making the many decisions necessary for the final product. They answered all questions and returned calls promptly. As the work progressed they found walls and floors that had deteriorated in my 50yr. old house. These things were repaired before continuing. Their attention to details made a big difference in the final outcome.

We worked with Jennifer and Mike to build a ~4,500 square foot home. We have built three homes, and this was the best experience we have had building, primarily due to working with them. They are excellent to work with, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering new construction or remodeling.

My home was remodeled by Jennifer Hyman in 2013. I had heard horror stories about the remodeling process, but our experience with Jenny and her Dad was pure joy. I am very happy with the results, and every day give thanks for the wonderful changes they suggested.
