I never thought that I would have a custom home built. Circumstances caused me to change my mind. Mine is a "tear down old and rebuild new, community." Since I wanted to stay in my community, I engaged Todd Bonneau Homes. Todd Bonneau Homes has been rebuilding my neighborhood for several years; one beautiful custom home at a time. Todd held our hand through the whole process. He helped us pick an architect and provided a designer for the details. Last minute changes were not a problem. I lived close to the building sight so I was able to be there a lot. I often heard comments from building inspectors regarding the high quality of construction. No large project is completed without issues. All problems were addressed promptly and continued to be addressed after we moved in. We now have an exceptional home built to our specifications and needs.

Todd has a very balanced approach to construction. He always finds great ways to add value to a project without killing a clients budget. He gives his clients a great level of service and pays attention to the little details. In June 2014 I moved into my new home built by Todd Bonneau Homes. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous which I felt was confirmed this past week when I was approached to place it on our local civic league’s tour of homes. How hard was it to build the perfect home? Well, you’ll have to ask Todd. He truly carries the load. When I approached Todd about building, I had visited my banker and knew what my budget was. I also knew what I wanted. There was a disparity between what I wanted and what the budget allowed but Todd gently guided me toward more realistic wants. Three wood burning fireplaces with chimney pots atop each chimney were replaced with fireplaces with gas logs and a chimney waiting for a chimney pot to be added at a later time. Perfect. And so it went. I had not chosen an architect but after listening to my wants Todd referred me to a local architect who was a perfect match. He took my floor plan that I’d scratched out on grid paper, made a few adjustments and there it was: this stunning design. Todd appears to have surrounded himself with great staff and sub-contractors. Todd’s designer hung with me throughout the build. At each decision point she’d alert me to what decisions I needed to make. I was provided with samples or places I could visit with items that would keep me on budget. Of course I could go out and find items on my own but their referrals were always spot on. Having visited many of the homes built by Bonneau Homes it’s quite easy to see that they build quality homes with personality and class. What you don’t see is they also have simplified the process for the home owner. I’m so grateful that they were my builders.

Todd Bonneau has built 2 homes for me. The first house he built for me was 2,400 square feet and the second was 7,100 on 3 acres with landscaping galore. If I ever build another one, I'll use him again. I've also referred numerous people to him. He is fantastic at getting things done quickly, without sacrificing quality. He wants you to be happy, and doesn't make everything about money - a rare find amongst builders. He's easy to talk to, never gets mad or frustrated and does a great job.

We hired Todd to build our custom tudor style house. Working with Todd is easy, there never was any drama on the project and he has a good team of contractors working for him. The lot next door had a different home builder so I got to see how Todd builds a house compared to another professional. The other house was a nice house and built well, but I found Todd was better at making the small details in the house come out better. Many times Todd had recommendations that turned to be spot on.

Todd built our home in 2010 and exceeded every expectation. He remains a friend and occasional golf companion (when his busy schedule allows). We cannot say enough good things about Todd and will definitely have Todd build our next home as well!

We purchased a 1960's ranch house, and Todd Bonneau Homes did a fabulous job executing a complete renovation of the entire home. Todd's a very personable and honest builder to work with. The home is beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased with our dream home!

During the architecture phase, he helped us develop a vision and communicate that vision to our architect. During the early construction phase, he helped us make structural decisions that promote longevity and decrease energy use. During the design phase, he helped us make practical decisions that promote a consistent beauty throughout the house. At the end of the project, he insisted that every detail was correct. Todd made a difficult process fun. He has a passion for homes, and it shows in his work.
