“Working with Cactus Nectar was a great experience from beginning to end. We started with another contractor who seemed uninterested in taking on our project and his quote reflected his attitude. In contrast, Cactus Nectar (Scott, owner & Ban, manager) visited our home to discuss our plans in detail. They came back with a quote that was very close to what we thought it should cost. The 7-page quote was thorough, showing all the line items they would provide and the costs for each job. It included timing for the work and payment schedule for each phase. They were professional and enthusiastic about working with us. There is so much I could say that was positive about our experience. The job manager (Lupe) was extremely flexible and responsive to any issues that arose and was always available to take calls. We did have some change orders which he accommodated, worked into the schedule and charged fair prices for. The project managers are backed up by a great team - they are constantly in morning meetings reviewing the various jobs and dealing with any issues. Additionally, Rebeca, who leads the office and is a talented designer, visited the site a couple of times to assist with important decisions. All the subcontractors we had on the job were top notch. This included demo, framing, tile removal and flooring replacement, drywall, plaster, painting, electrician, laborer, HVAC work and the finish carpenter doing all baseboards, casing and installing new doors throughout. One of the most notable aspects of our experience was the adherence to both timeline and budget. We were given a three-month schedule and a comprehensive budget. The job was completed in three months, and aside from change orders, the final costs matched the initial budget.”

“We contacted Bob Zammit at Skyline Homes/Valley Development Corporation to give us an estimate on extending our living room and from the moment he came to our home, we felt comfortable and confident that he would make our new living area just as we wanted. Bob listened to what our plans were and also gave us ideas to consider to enhance the new addition. He provided an estimate in a timely manner and then gave us a guideline as to when and what would be done to complete the project. His staff were all very professional and also attuned to completing our new area with ease. We were amazed at Bob's ability to coordinate all the work that needed to be done...he made it all seem so easy. Bob and his staff felt like family after a few weeks!! We were completely informed of all the tasks that were to be done and when they would be completed. We saw Bob on the site nearly every day and he would even spend time working on the project with his staff. He was always accessible by phone. Also he always answered his own phone and if we had a question that we had in the evening about something, would send an email and by the next morning we had our answer either by an email or a call back! Now, that is customer service!! He is definitely a hands on contractor !! No matter the decision, we always had input into what ever was going to be completed. We enjoyed living in our home for 26 years but now we feel that everything that we wanted to make our home more comfortable we have now because of Bob and his staff. We were so completely pleased with the room addition that we had Bob come back several months later and update our master and guest bathrooms. He was so knowledgeable about what is available in the area. He helped us with design and insuring we had places to go and check out the fixtures, shower doors, tub etc. It was not just looking in a cataloge but actually seeing what we wanted in a store. We had some decisions to make about wall colors and furniture etc. but were not sure.... so he had his interior design person come over and assist us....it was like one stop shopping with Valley Development Corporation. We would never consider doing a remodeling project with anyhone but Bob Zammitt and his staff. We hear from our friends about their not so great remodeling experiences but we felt that our experience with Bob and his staff was a joy because of the Customer Service that Bob Zammit demands not only of himself but of his staff! We hated to see them finish!”
