Utecht Custom Homes finished our unfinished basement at our cabin. We couldn’t be more pleased! The work that Mark did and the subs that they hired were top notch. Our basement would not of turned out the way it did without Utecht Homes. The cabin was originally built by John Kraemer & Sons 15 years ago for my in-laws. Mark made sure that the quality of work downstairs matched the quality upstairs. He definitely delivered! Utecht Custom Homes built an addition to our lake cabin and also remodeled the existing structure. We appreciate that during the building process, Mark proposed several options/ideas to us, many of which we agreed to and some even reduced costs. Jennifer was helpful and prompt in giving us opinions on interior selections, when we asked. Mark takes pride in doing things the right way, he is highly skilled and is nice to work with. The quality of his work and his ability to solve issues discovered with our existing cabin surpassed our expectations. We are very pleased with the end result and how close the final cost came to the original estimate.

Mark and Jennifer are truly two of the nicest, most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And Mark is an amazing builder to boot! He builds with care and caution and delivers what he says he will, on time and on budget. Mark is always willing to listen and propose changes - he is a great partner. He even bailed my boat one time when he noticed it was full of water! Following our first project (building a cabin) we have retained Mark for several other projects because we love the quality of the work and the thoughtfulness and design that Mark and Jennifer bring to everything they do.

Utecht Custom Homes is now building our third home as we have downsized over the past 28 years. They have always exceeded our expectations. Quality craftsmanship, exceptional subs, on time in finishing, great help during the "selection" phase which can be a daunting job. All of these have had us returning each time we decided to build.
