Building our home with Westrock Custom homes was a pleasure! Brian and Susanna have a wealth of knowledge in construction and design, and are both incredibly meticulous. The entire process was very organized and transparent. Communication was excellent - we were consulted on every detail, and were kept in the loop every step of the way. They made sure that our neighbors stayed informed and happy throughout the build. They really did go above and beyond. Even a year later when a small issue came up Susanna was on it! I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone contemplating a renovation or new build. We’re so happy with how our forever home turned out!

We hired Westrock Custom Homes in the fall of 2017 to help us design and build our new home (recommended from a friend who is a finisher). Due to our past construction experiences, we were very hesitant to go through a new house build again. Simply put, Westrock Custom Homes was fantastic. The project was on budget and professionally handled all the way through. On a cost-plus build, we absolutely loved their transparent cloud-based accounting system where costs versus budget were adjusted near daily. It also allowed for the review of all estimates and invoices from the selected service providers. Brian and Susanna did an amazing job and we would recommend them to anybody wanting a postive, attention-to-detail, and on-budget house build.

I have been a trade working with WestRock for many years, I must say that Susanna and Brian are extremely organized and are on top of their game when working on a build or a renovation. I recently photographed a custom home for Westrock. Every interaction that I had with Susanna was professional and delightful. Her passion for her clients shines through as she wanted to make sure the experience was pleasant for the homeowners. Westrock came highly recommended by a colleague at work . My wife and I met with Brian and Susanna and from the first meeting to the final sign off of our renovation it was a absolute pleasure. Brian is the consummate professional , he holds your hand through the nuts & bolts of what is involved in the project and makes sure the trades are on time and on budget. Susanna has a flair for design and decor that was invaluable to my wife and I. Together they are like Batman and Robin , we could not be more satisfied with every aspect of our project and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Brian and Susanna were hired for a complete basement build and and a 2nd level renovation. Brian and Susanna were very helpful and didn't pressure us to do anything we weren't comfortable with. Our favourite thing about working with them was the way that they bill. We liked that we could see where every dollar we spent was projected to go and then went. They kept all of our budget in an orderly fashion and we knew we weren't being taken advantage of. Brian manages the company but is also an accomplished licensed electrician and contractor so we trusted his oversight on the job. When we had questions he was able to confidently answer them for us. They handled various jobs in our home that were not limited to: carpet removal, wood floor and stair install, leather floor install, cork floor and stair install. They arranged for our home to be painted, a deck privacy screen build, and upgrading our appliances to higher efficiency ones. Su even helped me pick out a new kitchen tap! We liked the small business feel that they had and always went the extra mile when we needed something. When it's time to renovate again, Brian and Su will be getting a call from us.

Westrock Customs Homes comes highly recommended, so when we decided to renovate our kitchen and Bathroom, we did not hesitate to call Brian. He was prompt to respond to our call and came immediately to assess and give us a quote for the project. The renovation took a few weeks, and Brian was there every step of the way to see it thru to completion. We were quite happy with the final result as Westrock has gone the extra mile in providing quality work and finished in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the way every detail of the project was handled and especially liked the company’s integrity. We would highly recommend this company for someone looking at renovating or building a new home.

We were very nervous hiring someone to help us with our renovation because of all the horror stories you hear. We cannot say enough how impressed and relieved we were with the quality of Brian's work, understanding, patience, and overall attention to detail. He was here EVERY day making sure the project was running smoothly, that we were happy, that the trades work was up to par and that our house was kept clean and tidy. Brian did not overextend himself between several large projects so we always felt like we were his number one priority. We always felt like we were getting top-notch trades in because of Brian's extensive network of reliable workers and his reputation as a fair and honest contractor. Even as our project came to an end, Brian was available for questions and comments. We always felt like our opinions were heard and valid. We will hire Brian again for any other work we may want to do in the future and have already passed along his information to numerous friends.

A few years ago, we hired Westrock Custom Homes to renovate our 3 bathrooms. The result of this renovation was so impressive! The attention to detail, high quality of workmanship and above all staying within budget made the decision to rehire Westrock for a COMPLETE down to the floorboards and studs renovation of our 30 year home. Brian not only kept us well informed of the budget and the schedule, he constantly communicated new ideas and solutions for the project on a daily basis. His knowledge of all trades enabled Westrock to hire superb sub-contractors, as a result the work was excellent and we felt comfortable in our own home. Brian and our designer had a very good working relationship. It is common on large renovations to have a multitude of surprises to crop up. The two of them were very creative in finding affordable and inventive solutions. Our home is absolutely breath taking, we would never have been able to achieve our vision without Brian, his dedication, professionalism and hard work to this project.
