If I could give them no stars I would. My fiance and I are currently in the process of buying a home with them. While we love the design of the home they have been nothing but miss informative and unhelpful. The sales person at Dakota named Kim actively avoids our calls and only responds to us days later in an email. We have had problems with the time line of the home we set out on this journey the last week in July and here we are in January and we still don't have a closing date. The estimated closing date has now been moved twice at the start they said the home could be completed in Dec or January and in November they pushed it back to February and now we are in January and they cant give us a 30 day closing date. The upgrades on the cabinets were misrepresented to us and it was disappointing to see our cabinets were not as we expected. this issue was brought up to the sales people and there response was to modify the existing cabinets for the same price the initial upgrade to have the desired look would have cost, and it would delay closing up to a month or more. Then we discovered the color of our home is wrong, the sales team took two days to get back to us to confirm and they didn't admit it was the wrong color. they just said it was a "little off". we keep asking for information on how the build is going and we never get answers. Our home loan lender is now requiring us to pay to lock our rate because we have yet to see a closing date and it doesn't look like we will have answers anytime soon. Already tried contacting some higher in the company to help and have yet to receive a response, their initial response was an email that did not include any contact information. We have read other reviews and now fear we made a big mistake going with woodside home builders
