I grew up in two Woodstone homes and cannot name a better builder in the Rochester area! I will forever be comparing new construction to Woodstone's high quality finishes and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Their dedication to providing beautiful, well assembled homes is unmatched!

I can't say enough good things about this company. We hired Woodstone Custom Homes to build us a custom home on property we already owned. Jeff, Tim and Dan are extremely knowledgeable and promptly answered our questions every single time. They were so easy to work with - they made the process enjoyable and exciting - the way it should be! We would definitely hire this team again.

Excellent workmanship and they stand behind their work. The builder does two post sale walk throughs - 30 days after and a year after and fix any flaws or problems that are due to their error. I'd highly recommend Jeff Smith and Woodstone - one of the best builders in the area.

Woodstone built our new home when we moved from Washington DC to Rochester. The builder, Jeff Smith, met with us frequently to ensure our new home was built to our total satisfaction. We ended up with a 6500 sq ft high quality home that was completed on schedule and on budget.

This was our 1st time building a house. At first it seemed overwhelming with all the details and selections to be made but Jeff and his team were great walking us through every step of the way. We also greatly appreciated their constant communication and updates about our construction timeline fulfillment. Even more important to us is the quality of the home they built for us and their responsiveness whenever we have had a question or needed something taken care of even years after we've been living in the house.

We built our home with Woodstone in 2004 and they did an excellent job. Jeff is prompt with all appointments, accommodating with modifications and customization, and his costing of upgrades follows a logical sequence. From the project management standpoint, everything was handled professionally (and on a Gantt chart!), delays and changes were communicated in a timely fashion, and the overall schedule was a few days ahead of the of the original plan. In the ten years since the completion of the build, we have had only a handful of issues and in each case Woodstone either took care of the problem or was there to help us find someone who could. I recommend Woodstone without reservation for your custom homebuilding needs.

We had moved to Mahogany Run in Sept 2007. We are so happy with teh whole construction process. Every minute detail was laid out well in advance with less surprises. They had a spread sheet for the timing of th evarious stages and in fact the project was completed ahead of schedule. Therewer some minor problems right from the begining but they were identified and corrected as we went along. The quality of construction is amazing. It was a family affair and commitment. Jeff and his wife and his son and nephew were always on site at least once during the day always. It is truly a great experience and we feel it in every breath of our life. My wife and I purchased a new home from Woodstone seven years ago. We have been very pleased with their quality and attention to detail from day one to the present. We are considering building with them again as our families needs have changed. Woodstone has followed up on all inquires we have made even years after the sale. Our daughter recently purchased a thirty year old home that was built by Woodstone,the building is of such fine quality that after some tlc it is again a showplace. That is not due to previous owned maintainance of the property, but the quality of the design and workmanship of the original project. I have recommended Woodstone to many friends and will continue to do so.

We recently hired Woodstone to complete a basement project. Woodstone built our custom home 3 years ago as well. We had several estimates from basement contractors and Woodstone's estimate was very competitive. We chose them to do the project because our experience with buliding our home was outstanding. Their whole team is profession, courteous, honest and most importantly Woodstone does outstanding quality work. They also stand behind their work even several years later when minor things come up. The basement has turned out fantastic and the renovation experience was enjoyable and precisely on the estimated timeline. I would highly recommend Woodstone.
