“With a growing family we got to the point that we needed to start looking for a bigger home that would suit our family and budget. We were quite happy to buy an existing home if we could find the right place. At the same time, we figured it wouldn’t hurt to look into building a new home if we could get some decent square footage to fit our budget. We looked around and found a piece of property that we liked. We called Raymond Faber from West Coast Homes to discuss our options and he immediately earned our trust. He put some drawings together (without cost) and discussed our options for pricing and layout. As time went by we got ‘cold feet’ on the property. Raymond was extra patient with us as we went looking for another piece of property. When we finally found another (pricier) property in town that we liked, it was back to the drawing board to see if we could still build a decent sized home to stay within out budget. Raymond did an amazing job of laying out a home that appealed to us. He gave excellent advice on how to save cost, so much so, that we ended up having room in the budget to add a full-sized unfinished basement. What a dream to have all that extra room to move into down the road! During the construction phase we had a wonderful experience. The trades that West Coast used were very friendly, helpful and willing to give advice when we were visiting the job site. There were times when Raymond would offer suggestions to change things on the go to add functionality – all done without extra change orders. We would build with Raymond and West Coast Homes again in a heartbeat. They are honest, patient, reliable and hard-working. Thank-you, Raymond and crew for a great job!”

“We ordered a Greenhouse from BC Greenhouse a couple years ago to install for a Customer. The customer service while deciding what to purchase was very good, they shipped on time, as expected and all materials were present as needed. The packaging protected the materials well, and the instructions were pretty good. (It's not like building a lego house, but pretty doable if you're handy and would be easier if you did it again!) The quality is fantastic. We completed it the day before a tornado force wind came through and we thought for sure it would be on the ground. Trees were falling all around, and the only damage was the vent hydraulics which BC Greenhouses replaced for us (with a better quality one that can stand up). We installed ours bolted to a 2 beam high 6 x 6 retaining wall with dead men because we couldn't put in concrete piles. It is still standing sturdy 2 years later with Alberta snowfalls. We do recommend the fan though - with twinwall poly, the extra air flow makes a big difference.”

“We have completed a "whole home" renovation with MyHouse - and we continue to be thrilled with both our results and our followup care and attention. The attention to detail, the professional standards, and the client focus were all we could ask for. While in a job of this magnitude there were the inevitable hiccups, any issue was dealt with promptly and to our complete satisfaction. Projects of this size can be very stressful - but this team made it so much less so as we always felt in good hands through the entire process. “We hired FM Construction to be the contractors for the building of our new home. Pete the owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have great connections when it comes to the sub-trades, and also who to connect with in terms of fixtures, flooring, tiles etc. This was our first house built, and it was nice to have the input from an experienced contractor as to what would work, or what wouldn't. Also in terms of suggestions of doing things different, and bringing forth new ideas that we had not thought of. Most of all, we think that Pete is very easy to work with, and his professionalism and experience made it easy to deal with decisions (sometimes stressful) that had to be made. We are looking to build another home in the future, and would definitely work with him again.”
