We enjoyed working with Young & Burton on the complete renovation and expansion of a luxurious 1930s San Francisco residence. The scope of the extensive gut renovation work included seismic foundation upgrades, digging out the lower level for increased ceiling heights, exterior stucco restoration, new steel window and door systems, the construction of a trellised two-floor addition, custom, high-end finishes and products in every space, and new mechanical and electrical systems throughout. Having worked with Y&B on their previous home, our detail-oriented clients were eager to work with them again. The project team worked together well in a collaborative atmosphere of trust and respect that delivered an exquisite level of customization and craft. I had the unfortunate experience of having my roof collapse at a commercial shopping center in Dublin. The required repair was quite difficult given the very confined workspace, the disruption to my tenant and the complexity to the proper fix. Young & Burton came up with a very creative solution of repairing the large broken wooden truss with a custom steel beam in lieu of totaling replacing the beam. This resulted in a much more expedient repair with the slightest disruption to my tenant and most importantly, it was lowered the original cost estimate dramatically.

We are a Floor Covering sub contractor who has worked with Young & Burton, Inc. for 25 years on many projects.
