“This firm listens to the details presented to them, their responsiveness is excellent and guided us through our kitchen redo project quickly to our complete satisfaction when done. There design element was perfect, the trades people employed by them were great, very friendly, professional in there work, very willing to listen/implement if we thought something needed to be changed. Clean up at the end of the day was accomplished each day. The finished Cherry cabinets installed was astounding, Steve there stain and finish person is outstanding matched our color requirement perfectly and when finished we had no complaints on his work. What really impressed us about this firm 1st was the huge farm stainless steel sink we wanted they tracked it down a lot of research required here to meet our requirement. 2nd We also installed a large quantity of Quartz counter tops including one super long center island piece. They went out of there way here before the date the Quartz was to be installed they had a representative take pictures so we could view ahead of time making sure any material uniformity issues could be corrected prior to delivery to the work site. In closing, I can't believe anyone can go wrong in choosing this firm happy customers. Gary & Sandy”

“K&S really saved the day for us! Out of all the contractors that my wife and I interviewed, Alon and Shaul offered the most competitive pricing, while also bringing their passion, imagination, and flexibility to the project. And they also surrounded themselves with other talented individuals who were able to turn our vision into reality. We broke ground in February by stripping the house down to its studs. Our space is a 3 bed/2.5 bath built in 1939 with a relatively small footprint (~1400 sq. ft.) meaning that we had to get creative with our design to accommodate the needs of our growing family. A major part of the work that K&S did for us was to break down multiple walls separating the cramped kitchen, dining and living rooms and opening them up into a single spacious great-room. Kiki, the interior designer, was invaluable during this process. To accommodate our home's limited space, she proposed several ingenious designs to meet our needs. This included running a pair of beautiful open shelves across the kitchen windows for extra storage space, as well as building an attached bench into the kitchen island so that the dining area would feel less crowded. These daring design choices were real game-changers when it came to making our house feel comfortable and unique. Vlad, the K&S architect, brought really good insight into the permitting process. As a former city permit inspector, he ensured that K&S was able to pull permits quickly and efficiently, so that we were able to start demo with minimal delay. Several other parts of the work also really stood out. The handmade artisanal tilework in our kitchen and bathroom were so well-done that another contractor friend of ours made a point to call it out. Likewise, the drywall work has a smooth clean finish that transitions seamlessly into the ceiling. And finally, the custom-made cabinets that the K&S carpenter built for us have a luxury look-and-feel to them that would have been impossible to replicate if we had gone the pre-fab route. K&S also did a great job of helping us navigate the unexpected surprises that come with home renovation. Because the house was so old, we faced a number of issues such as termites, mold damage, and a leaky roof. K&S was flexible and quick about adding these issues into their scope of work, and they were able to find subcontractors who could fix those issues efficiently. They were also great about updating us regularly throughout the project via our WhatsApp group. We moved into our place around August and got settled in quickly. The space already feels like ours, and we hope to call this place our home for the rest of our lives. Overall, the experience was excellent, and thinking back, it would have been a VERY different story if we had gone with a different contractor. My wife and I are incredibly grateful for all the work that K&S did for us. Thank you, K&S! James”

“After receiving approximately 10 different quotes on a kitchen remodel, we decided to go with CKG. Now that the project is finished, I am absolutely positive we made the right decision and here's why: 1) Sam's (the owner) quote came in about 3.5K less than the next closest. 2) We needed this project finished before Thanksgiving (3 week window). CKG finished with 5 days to spare. 3) My wife and I made a few last second changes in design and Sam accommodated without delay or extra charge. After buying our first house within the last year, we have seen our fair share of poor service and quality of work. CKG was our best overall contractor experience since close of escrow. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.”
