After meeting Jason and receiving his very reasonable estimate, we arranged for him to do our renovation. His work is superior as well as the persons he sub-contracts to for electrical installation, etc. Most impressive is that they all cleaned their work area after each work day.     “Kitchen Encounters was without a doubt the company that met our standards for a kitchen expansion and complete revision. The level of integrity throughout the organization was amazing and we could not be happier with the final product. We expanded our kitchen by at least 40% and it is incredible. The whole team at Kitchen Encounters embraced the project like it was their own home. The level of experience and creativity was amazing and our whole family loved working with Kitchen Encounters. Our project included hardwood floors throughout the entire first floor, a complete addition to our existing kitchen, new counters, new cabinets, new lights and all new appliances. As we planned the expansion the team from Kitchen Encounters took every detail very seriously and continued to think outside the box to meet our every need and exceed our expectations.”

    “Steve Tatios from tatcor.com is first of all a gentleman who spent hours discussing my project before I even hired him. His ideas and dedication to detail was what I was looking for. In addition, I needed someone to design, draw and then take the project to completion. The work was outstanding in quality and detail. Anything we wanted to change or tweak, he was more than willing to do. The final project gets the "oohs and aahs" from friends one would hope for and our new basement is now the most fun and inviting part of the house. Multiple parts of the project were somewhat "out of the box" and Steve took to researching and handling the project. I highly recommend Tatcor.com. It is like a gourmet meal. It takes a few extra days but it is perfect when done.”

    “Jim replaced my kitchen faucet, a small job but one I needed done. He was punctual, very professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. He even took my old faucet and the box from my new faucet away for me ! It is often difficult to find someone like Jim, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a true professional.”

    “We are writing to wholeheartedly recommend Timothy (Tim) Strosser of Studio 810 Design as a designer and general contractor for home improvement. In 2012, we met Tim at the Philadelphia Home Show, and were impressed by Tim’s portfolio of previous designs and building projects. On his first visit to our home in the Philadelphia suburbs Tim impressed us again with his instant understanding of our home improvement needs. We wanted to build a new bathroom in a little-used space that was attached to our master bedroom, but Tim suggested a much better solution; building an addition to the house’s second floor, and placing the bathroom in it. This way we got a fabulously looking new master bathroom that is an envy of our friends and neighbors, and avoided a mistake of building a bathroom that would be to small and not convenient. Timothy also designed and built for us a mudroom in front of our house, completely redesigned and rebuilt our patio, and changed the siding all around the house. We are very satisfied with the quality of his design and workmanship of his crew. Tim is a very experienced project manager, and he worked hard to accommodate our specific requirements during the project and to adjust all the logistics accordingly. He was able to keep the project deadlines despite very unfavorable weather conditions, the climax of which was Hurricane Sandy. During the project we occasionally changed our mind regarding some details (e.g., selection of tiles), and Tim was always ready to either accept our new ideas or, when they were not practical, offer very good alternatives. During the project we developed a trusting, friendly relationship with Timothy and many of his crew members. We were so satisfied with our collaboration with Tim that, after the first big project was completed, we tasked him with a couple of smaller projects in our house (e.g., staircase renovation), and outside (landscaping). We are sure that, with his great artistic taste, his extensive technical experience, and his understanding of individual clients’ characters and preferences, Timothy can exceed expectations of the most demanding clients. We already recommended the services of Studio 810 to our neighbors, and we recommend them to you.”
