Cheryl is an absolute gem! She is so kind, patient and thoughtful in her approach. She helped me redesign my office/bedroom and select lighting, paint color and furniture in other areas of my home. Cheryl is very detail oriented, efficient and responsive to any questions throughout the design process. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to refresh their home. I am a General Contractor out of Reading, Ma. We designed and built a new home in Andover for an older couple that featured first floor living. They had no idea what to pick out for colors, hardware, counters etc. I reached out to Cheryl and set up a meeting for her to get a feel for our client's tastes. She ran with that 1 meeting and did an amazing job picking out everything for them! From bathroom fixtures, mirrors to the colors of everything in the house including all the cabinetry, counters throughout. I spend allot of time with our sub-contractors and never before have they complimented the finish product of a house like they did this one! It was truly spectacular! I have worked with Cheryl for 2 years and it is a relationship that continues to grow. I contacted Cheryl to choose a wall color for a renovation project and I needed a decision in an afternoon. Cheryl met the challenge and I knew I could trust her to complete several projects to furnish my home. She is very thorough and professional, happy to collaborate and work closely to make decisions, taking the time to really understand what a client wants, needs, and ready to offer her best professional opinion and decision. After 2 years, I trust Cheryl to make decisions for me with projects as she has taken the time to get to know what works for my home, relieving me of worrying about all the details. Upon completion of a kitchen/bathroom renovation Cheryl has worked to create a cohesive whole of furniture, accessories, art work in the living room/kitchen areas and has now extended to other rooms of my house. She is communicative and always available and presents very clear expectations of cost, completion dates, etc for projects.

We are a young professional couple with a baby, who recently relocated to the state for work and bought a home sight unseen. Cheryl's services have been invaluable in helping us curate a comfortable living space in a short time. Along the way there were some challenges with vendors (completely out of Cheryl's control), and she absolutely FOUGHT for us to get those vendors to make it right. You can be as involved or hands off as you'd like with your project and the end result will still be a stylish and custom fit, tailored to your taste and budget. We recommend her without any hesitation.

I can't say enough about the incredible services we have received from Cheryl and Beautifying Spaces. We just completed a second renovation project with Cheryl and will be meeting to discuss a third. The first project was the improvement of a small hallway leading to a mudroom. The care with which Cheryl took to ensure that every detail was complete (for such a small space) and that we were happy with the results, was exceptional. The second project was the renovation of a bathroom/laundry room. As with the first project, Cheryl's professionalism, availability and relaxed attitude were so appreciated and made the experience (which can at times be stressful) a pleasurable one. The hallway and bathroom look amazing!! We are so pleased with both renovations!! Cheryl was incredibly hands-on with both projects and was always available for any questions/concerns that we had. More importantly, her taste for design is exceptional. She strived to understand our wishes and would often send photos and options for every part of the renovation, from paint color, to light fixtures to tile style and wallpaper. Cheryl was an absolute delight to collaborate with! My husband and I bought a new construction home with an open first floor plan back in October. When our sofas that we ordered in September 2021 finally came in at the beginning of February 2022 and were too big, cut off the space, and were simply just awful looking, I desperately reached out to Cheryl for help. Cheryl was quick to respond and assured me that we were going to make our house a home. We couldn't be more impressed with the work she has done for us over the last 5 months. Cheryl has spent countless hours learning our style and handpicking pieces that she knew we would love. She is so organized, communicates every detail, and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect and that her clients are fully satisfied. I couldn't recommend her enough! We will definitely be using Cheryl again for future projects!

We hired Beautifying Spaces to essentially renovate our whole 1st floor. We are doing this in phases, with the first being our kitchen which is now complete. Cheryl did an amazing job of transforming the space and giving us virtually everything we could have wanted. We never really liked our old kitchen, truth be told. It was built in the early 2000’s and had the dark cabinetry, countertops and tile which was popular at the time. We wanted something much lighter and more modern without being too contemporary. Since we anticipate moving within the next several years, we also wanted to work within a relatively modest budget. Cheryl listened to all of our concerns and put together a look that kept our budget and wants in mind, while also keeping an eye on resale value. She utilized our existing layout with only minor modifications and left our cabinets intact while having them professionally painted. They look absolutely amazing and you would be hard pressed to tell that they aren’t factory finished. These two moves saved us a ton of money and allowed us to replace the countertops which we had previously thought weren’t in our budget. There were other clever cost saving measures she also used, but you get the idea. Cheryl put together a number of different looks with varying color samples, backsplash materials, flooring, lighting, hardware and furnishings. It was a very iterative and interactive process which we really appreciated. She was extremely patient with us as we tried to narrow down our options and was also very responsive to any questions we had, making herself available by phone or in person if needed. The end result is much more than we could have hoped for. In our opinion, it looks like it cost two or three times more than we actually spent and it’s generated many compliments. Probably the best compliment we received was from our teenage daughter. One day we came home to find out she had done some baking. Now if you know anything about her, you would know that she outright despises anything to do with cooking. When we asked her what prompted her to bake, she told us that she liked the new kitchen so much that she was just looking for a reason to hang out there. Thanks again to Cheryl and Beautifying Spaces for finally giving us a kitchen that we actually love to spend time in. We are looking forward to completing phase two next (the great room) and cannot wait to see the end result!

Amazing, Amazing! Cheryl great to work with, professional in everything that she does. All Her Ideas and Designs are incredible, and the way she's structures her work, for her presentation is outstanding. And most of all her attitude is Charming, it pleasure to work with Her. Cheryl was amazing with our master bathroom remodel. This was a complete re-do on the 1970s built design we had. My husband and I were having a difficult time with floor, shower and shower floor tile. We were also challenged with the vanity area sitting in a nook of our master suite so coordination with that room was critical. We also wanted an elegant tile that would not be slippery when wet. She really helped us define the vision and even took side trips to the tile store to shop with us. The result is beautiful! The photos are difficult to capture the end result but we are so pleased. Cheryl has a sensational design sense and is just fun to work with!

Cheryl was so wonderful to work with and our house turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Cheryl’s process was so fun and informative it really helped to nail down exactly what we wanted and to get us to step out of comfort zone. We had a few snafus with our builder and Cheryl was so quick to turn around and give us additional options to complete our look and gave us invaluable guidance. She responded instantly and seemed to drop everything to help us in a pinch. She created a master bathroom oasis, a tasteful star wars themed office, jaw dropping kitchen, kids bathroom retreat and made the house flow overall. My husband and I were sad when our project was complete as we missed our many interactions with Cheryl, if we ever do anything again I would hire her in a heartbeat well worth every penny!

I want to first start by saying if I could give a Six star rating, I would give a SEVEN! My husband and I engaged with Cheryl and Beautifying Spaces LLC for help with a complete renovation of our great room. We've been in our home for 30 years, and although I've always said the space 'has good bones' I've never done the room justice with selecting furnishings and accent pieces. After a long awaited fireplace remodel, I knew I needed some expert interior design rescuing - and along came Cheryl. After researching several websites and interviewing a few professionals I wasn't satisfied that I'd found the right fit. I discovered Beautifying Spaces website and knew from the moment I saw Cheryl "at work" this would be the right fit for us & we've never looked back or been happier. She is extremely knowledgeable, talented and a terrific resource. She helped us envision relocating the space for our new TV to an entirely different area of the room and I cannot believe how much more inviting and cozy my great room has become. She has exceptional taste and has continuously steered me in the right direction with paint selection (including the kitchen and foyer), furnishings, lighting etc. She's been out to our home several times, and is readily available via phone, email, & text as well.
