Even if you have a small house and/or small budget, Amy's services are invaluable in getting the optimal results for selling. I'm thrilled with my decision to hire Amy! I have a small 2 bedroom colonial and didn't think hiring staging consultation was going to be: A. affordable or B. very beneficial, but I'm happy to be wrong on both points. I had just a few days before my open house, when I had my appointment, so I was doubtful there would be a big difference or impact that could be made given my short timeframe, and small budget for improvements. In less than 2 hours, we we had rearranged some furniture, discussed a plan for "lightening and brightening" (that was the big lesson!) with the pieces I already had, which items to remove/hide, and which items would be worth investing in to add. She even gave me a handy print-out where I can jot down my own notes, but of course she provided a follow-up report after anyway. I incorporated the majority of tips into the house and was surprised at how affordable the little extras cost, but what a huge impact they made to the space! Amy gave recommendation on where to purchase which items at great prices and her instructions were clear and made sense. When you look at your home, the same space, for years and years, you just don't see all the clutter or things that don't make sense to a potential buyer. That's where staging can definitely help. I didn't utilize Amy's full services of having her decorate the space (as I simply didn't have the time or budget for it) but her expertise, patience, warm personality, and guidance were a godsend for getting ready for my Open House. I can attest to the success of the staging because I tried listing and selling my house 5 years ago and had NO success. With some help with Great Impressions, I had several interested parties at my first (and last!) Open House, with multiple offers the NEXT DAY. I highly recommend Amy / Great Impressions!
