We take this extremely personally as over the past 13 years we pride ourselves in our professionalism, customer service and quality of work.
We value the long term relationships we have built with our clients but we must stand by our company and represent the facts:
• All consultations have ALWAYS been 2.5 hours, that has never varied.
• Hope Designs was hired to do a 2.5 hour Interior Decorating consultation. The home owner just purchased the home, we were hired to consult with Sarah and give her advice.
This was not a staging consultation, the house was not for sale. The client did not hire us to move her existing furniture, if she had we would have suggested a Staging Consultation and then been very clear that we would need to provide her with a quote to have the property staged as we would need to bring our staging crew as well as movers etc. on the next visit (provided the quote was accepted and the terms were agreed upon).
• Again, we apologized profusely for the fact that I was unable to make it. Unfortunately, my elderly Father unexpectedly went blind and was hospitalized for the month of August. I was out of town assisting he and my Mom, I had hoped to keep this very personal and disconcerting time out of print and social media but I guess in this case sadly, that’s not possible.
I only wish that this client had chosen to give either myself, our office administrator or Owen a quick call or email to discuss her concerns (even once) rather than choosing to slander our good name on social media if she had I’m certain we would have been able to discuss her concerns and offer a suitable solution.
Thank you to all for taking the time to read this. It is my hope that you will be able to separate fact from fiction and if you have any continued concerns please reach out and contact me directly.
