My wife and I contracted with J Mozeley Interiors in September, 2020 to have her remodel our screened in porch and the steps leading up from the ground to the porch. Ms. Mozeley does not generally design steps but as the steps were showing significant wear and tear and needed to be replaced, she offered to undertake that part of the project as well. Within a week she had designed a beautiful reconfiguration of the porch and steps taking advantage of the view of the golf course and adding solar lights to the steps and landing. The next obstacle we threw her way was that we chose our own contractor rather than one she usually worked with. Our neighbor had used a contractor for her steps and porch who was familiar with the neighborhood and was currently on site. Ms. Mozeley had never worked with this contractor before but was willing to forego her usual contractor to please her customer. During the tear down part of the project it was discovered that some of the support wood that was going to be retained had been damaged by carpenter bees and needed to be replaced. This part of the project had not been included in the initial price so Ms. Mozeley worked out with the contractor an acceptable price to be added to the contract. Throughout the project Ms. Mozeley made sure she dropped by on a regular basis to make sure everything was proceeding nicely. She also followed up on a punch list that had to be addressed of items that required further work due to weather issues. She had an excellent rapport with the contractor. Ms. Mozeley was a true professional through out the 2 weeks that this project took and never made us feel left out. We plan to use her for our kitchen remodel later this year.

I found Julian on Houzz.com for a color consulting: picking out paint colors for my new condo. I loved the colors she picked. Julian is professional, knowledgeable in her craft and easy to work with. She is currently helping me with another project, and I trust her keen sense of design style. Julian has a great personality and makes the process a fun experience. I highly recommend Julian for all your design and decorating needs.

I worked with Jules on a refresh of my living room. It still had the original builder’s colors and some of the furniture that was situated there needed to be replaced. Jules give me both color and furniture suggestions and with her tutelage was able to modernize the entire room. Jules was easy to work with and was receptive to my suggestions as well as her own. She was kind, even tempered, and was here to assist whenever requested.

JuIian Mozeley was terrific helping me to refresh and modernize my living room. I had not worked with an interior designer before, so I had no idea what I was doing when I started the project on my own. Jules was a true diplomat and assured me that I had made a good start. She listened to my ideas and cleverly incorporated them into the final design. Jules let me know that deliveries might be slow due to the pandemic, so there was some careful planning. But in only 2 months I have a lovely contemporary living room! I enjoyed working with Jules – and I am sure that you will too!

Jules has a wonderful and welcoming personality! She is very easy to work with and is always bursting with creativity! I am more than satisfied with the ideas she has communicated to me for my space. I would certainly recommend her to my friends and family!

Jules came to my Massage Therapy office to help redesign my 2 rooms. She was very professional & kind. She has a lot of great ideas & really listened to me about my style & what I wanted. My husband and I wanted a designer to help redesign our living and dining room. We found Julian and were ultimately very pleased with the outcome. Julian, and the entire team at J.Mozeley interiors, was very professional throughout the entire experience. She kept in constant communication, was thorough in every detail, and considerate of our ideas and (mostly my) wants and wish list. She was timely in meeting projected deadlines, as were the other contractors she recommended we work with. Jules was always reassuring and she took our ideas and conceptualized them perfectly. She is a very tasteful designer and made us feel very comfortable, even as she brought in other workers to complete projects. Her work family is very professional and we thought they did an awesome job. I LOVED the 3D model of the space she uses to show her design ideas and suggestions, I felt like I was in an HGTV show! And, we would have stayed on budget, had I not splurged on some extra decor. It wasn’t too much over though, so my husband was happy (ha)!

I recently moved to Charlotte, NC and rented a brand new carriage house which I wanted to have someone completely furnish. After reaching out to several local interior design firms, I settled on J Mozeley Interior Decorating & Redesign. Despite some project challenges including myself being remote and my inexperience with interior design, Jules (as I was asked to call her) held my hand through the entire process and made it completely painless! Every question I had was promptly answered and I was made to feel that my input was valued and reflected. I had some constraints, both budgetary and logistically, that Jules was able to handle effortlessly (or at least made it appear that way). As for the work itself, well I love my new apartment! Everyone who visits or sees photos gives me the nicest complements and insists on having Jules' contact information. I wanted mid-century modern and Jules found fantastic pieces at great prices. In addition, she and her wonderful staff, put in the extra effort to make the place feel like a home. I mentioned that I was adopting a cat - well the unveil included little gifts for my future feline! I can't recommend J Mozeley Interior Decorating & Redesign highly enough.

I've never used a designer or decorator before so it was a little bit intimidating at first. I needed to make my kitchen and large breakfast area more user-friendly for me and my family and updating it as well. I can't believe how easy it was J Mozeley Interiors help me from the beginning to the end coordinating the flooring with the backsplash which is gorgeous gave my Cabinetry lighting below and above what a big difference also cabinets were painted a lighter color along with the hardware being changed and soft closed cabinet doors..... for any parents, no more slaming and cabinet doors and drawers is a big difference! The added a built-in storage in the breakfast area matching the island it looks like it's always been there then brought in window treatments and coordinated them buy reupholstering our chairs and bringing in a child friendly area rug it looks gorgeous really gorgeous I could not have done this on my own and now it makes me happy just to walk in to our new area and she worked within my budget! Thank you so much Jules next we're doing our master suite can't wait!!!!

Home Office & guestroom with on suite. I was presented with a 3D Version of what I was in search of for my wife and I's home project. Mrs. Mozeley was very professional from the start and took care of all the details even finished early , very impressed! No surprises , no nonsense . Great,really great results!

I engaged the services of J.Mozeley Interiors last Fall when I was looking to remodel a bathroom in my current home. It is a very small bathroom that not only is the main bathroom for general usage & any guests, it also needed to be something that my teenage daughter would be able to use as her primary bathroom also. Jules' ideas & advice were things that I had never really thought of and she is very good at being up on the latest trends, etc., whereas I have a tendency to "live in the past", so to speak. I would very much recommend her to anyone else that may be looking for design ideas, etc. It is obvious that she has both a talent & a passion for what she does!

We recently redecorated the living room and dining area of our home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Julian’s patiently worked with us in choosing our fabrics and paint colors and the furniture placement. We gave her a general idea of what we wanted, and when we arrived for our appointment she had a wonderful assortment of fabrics and paint chips gathered together for us to see. She helped us with the final selections and was a source of many wonderful, creative ideas that we would never have thought of on our own. We had a short time-frame that we had to work in and Julian saw to it that everything was done right on time! Working with her was a pleasure and we are delighted with our new rooms!
