This was our second time using Simply Irresistible Interiors to sell our home. The advice we were given by Jill to make our house sale ready and her beautiful staging sold the properties in record time. Contractors she used were very professional and I had every trust in her choice in design. Nothing was overlooked and the house looked stunning. Thank you so much Jill.

What can't I say about the work of Jill and Simply Irresistible Interiors. I was completely blown away by the staging in my home. It looked so good people asked me if I now wanted to change my mind about selling. Initially I was going to still be living in the home while selling. Jill provided a lot of useful advice on updates that would bring more value as well as tips for staging it myself. She told me that it would cost me less to improve the home than the amount the purchaser would want to discount the price and she was right. Paint (picked out by Jill), update to the cupboard doors, new counters and light fixtures along with the flooring I had already planned gave my 21 year old home the face lift it deserved. In the end I moved out and had Jill stage my home. The first weekend on the market brought 60 visitors to the Open House. My realtor was amazed. She even stayed an hour longer than the scheduled time. From then it was a constant 2 to 3 showings a day until I received 2 offers 14 days after the house was listed and sold it just $2,500 below asking. Potential buyers even enquired if the furniture came with the house. With the work Jill did in staging my home I was not worried about it selling because it looked beautiful. All communication between myself, Jill and her staff was professional and covered all details. I would recommend Jill and Simply Irresistible interiors to anyone I know.

Living room now looks like a picture out of a magazine but not too pristine for kids and pets. Job well done. Thanks Jill.

We did a complete interior renovation of our home starting in July 2014. We hired Jill from Simply Irresistible Interiors to oversee the project from beginning to finish. We could not be more pleased with our choice. Jill is a true professional. When the renovation was complete, they provided a superior home staging! We would highly recommend Jill Gargus and her team!

Jill - how can I thank you for all the work you did for us, the professionals that worked with you. Moving a family member from a great distance is stressful enough - you made it so much easier. You took her tired, and not too tidy home and created a masterpiece that sold in just days. Thank you thank you thank you.
Your caring heart and compassion made a difficult time much easier. You are awesome, just awesome and I would recommend you to anyone who appreciates the kindness and professionalism you exude!

Jill Gargus is an exceptional staging professional I have encouraged many of my real estate listing clients to hire her company Simply Irresistible Interiors to stage their homes prior to going on the market. She is prompt, courteous and sticks to her estimates.
Her talents over the past 7 years I have known her have helped scores of my clients sell their homes in record time for excellent prices.
I strongly recommend Jill and her team for anyone requiring professional home staging.

Our experience with Simply Irresistible Interiors was exceptional. We not only hired them to stage our property but we had Jill Gargus manage the renovations of our 2217 sq ft two level penthouse condominium including flooring, painting and new lighting as well as updates in the bathrooms. From her well-researched presentation at our first meeting to our discussions during the whole process, it was clear that Jill had an understanding of what would be required. There is no doubt that Jill had a vision before she started because the end result was above and beyond our expectations.
The entire project was completed within the agreed time frame and any concerns we had during the process were immediately addressed. Each situation that came up (and there were some tricky ones with contractors) Jill handled with such professionalism that we couldn’t have asked for a better company for the job.
Her attention to detail was a refreshing change from our previous staging experience. We had made the mistake of hiring another stager based on a cheaper price, and the disappointing result reflected just that - a much cheaper look.
Jill Gargus is, in my opinion, top notch in her field and I can, with great confidence, recommend Simply Irresistible Interiors to anyone looking for an extremely knowledgeable stager and project manager who prides themselves in giving their clients a great customer service experience.

The staging was somewhat up to my expectation, except some of the area they supposed to stage did not get done correctly. the entire rental was smooth until we later on discovered some damages were made in our kitchen after their de-stage, we tried to give them a chance to admit their fault without even asking for any damage repairs, instead, Jill and her team went all out on blaming other parties and called their client (us) dishonest, just pure professionalism.
Although you treated your client without any respect at the end, I will still give you 1 star for staging somewhat up to my expectation, don't ask your clients to change this or that of the house in order to make your staging easier, it is your job to stage the house with what you are offered, not to what you wanted to be.
I had my original stager for my previous projects, except the timing was bad for this project, I should have waited, worst experience ever.

Comment from simply irresistible interiors inc:
In response to this review from Michael Li, we actually did respond to his email inquiring about a damaged cupboard door. We explained that we never stage the interior of cabinets so we never even opened the door during our de-stage process. However, to make sure that was indeed accurate, I then took the next step and went to my team and delivery company, and actually went through all our company policy procedures regarding reporting damages if they occur.
I discovered that in fact, NO DAMAGES were reported or photographed. It is our policy to photograph all homes prior to staging, including walls, cabinets, floors, doorways, tile, windows etc, in order to protect US from contractor damage that we may get blamed for. As often in property prep, contractors still enter the home after staging to do last minute jobs.
Part of our process is to also photograph all the rooms after staging for the listing photos and also take inventory photos. At the time of pick up- or de-stage- we are present during the process and supervise it. If damages occur, it is company procedure to photograph it, email it to the office and call the office to report it so that we can begin the process of obtaining quotes to repair it.
That way we are already in the process of taking care of it when we call the client to explain what happened and how it is being fixed. Clients appreciate this and have always been good about it.
In 12 years of staging, this "damages procedure" has happened 3 x. In all 3 cases, each property was repaired to the client's satisfaction and was repaired prior to the new owner's taking possession. We take pride in our work and our reputation and have always had high customer satisfaction.
With this particular issue however, our honesty was not met with kindness. Michael refused to accept that we were not the offender here. He blamed us and refused to consider that one of his contractors, or a buyer or a buyer's child could have wrecked this cabinet door, as he cannot monitor showings 100%.
He also refused to see it as a manufacturers defect. He insisted we were the problem, despite the fact that we never even opened the cabinet doors. We were called names by Michael Li, including him telling me I was too damn stupid to know what happened, my staff and I were abused verbally and treated like we were destructive and deliberately lying, which we were not.
I asked him to stop contacting my office or I would have to call authorities as his behavior was getting out of hand. It is unfortunate that there are people like this in the world, however we will not be bullied into taking responsibility for damages we didn't do. I fully trust my staff and delivery team, and have had long relationships with all of them. We take great care to go above and beyond for our clients, as our reputation and future business depends on it. We have no problem fixing something we did damage, however that will only happen when we actually did do it.

Jill and her team do an amazing job. Both times I have used Jill to stage my house, I have been able to see within a month, and always at top price.
Jill has staged my town house and a bungalow in Stony Plain. She knows what she is talking about. Which is perfect, because living in a staged house is beautiful but not something you want to do for very long with little kids! So LISTEN to what she says and if you follow her advice, your house will sell quickly!
