For over 10 years, Stefanie Garritty has been Calgary's leading Interior Designer & Home Stager. She is also a licensed REALTOR in Alberta. Through experience and high customer demand, The Design Chic evolved to be one of the only cosmetic renovation experts in Calgary. A cosmetic renovation specialist can first help you make the decision of whether to sell your home, or to renovate it. If renovating is the way to go Stefanie will recommend which areas of your home to renovate to get the biggest return on your investment when you’re ready to sell. If you decided to list it, she can help you with that too! In the meantime, enjoy a fresh new look and feel, whether its new paint, flooring and backsplash, or just new pillows and some modern art.. Stefanie is truly talented and as important she is considerate of budgets, time lines and has the ability to truly listen to her clients. Stefanie is simply brilliant at what she does. She was recommended to us by a friend as we sought some input on some selections we made for our newly built home - everything from counters to tiles to carpet. She worked through all of our selections and offered recommendations and alternatives. She saved us endless hours of selecting items we simply couldn’t decide on - hardwood, carpet and a kitchen backsplash - and was so quick to choose pieces for us. My only regret was not reaching out to her earlier! Finally, Stefanie helped me select the right furniture for our home. She has great taste and really knows her stuff. We love our new home! Thanks for all you help Stefanie.

2 years ago, with a few new pieces and my existing possessions Stefanie Garritty staged and transformed my home from dated and boring to fresh and modern. A few weeks ago (in November, 2017) she consulted with me regarding updating our kitchen cabinets. She has an extraordinary eye and within minutes was able to discuss options, colors, had the entire kitchen measured and an estimate to me within 48 hours. My kitchen went from dated dark stained maple to professionally lacquered cabinets in a modern color that look like they're right out of a show home yet completely belong to the overall style of the house. She employs trades people who care AND she is in constant communication with them and the homeowner. What more can I say? If you want someone to come into your home, give you fresh ideas and options in a timely manner with incredible results. Call her. You won't be disappointed.

Stefanie worked on my renovation project choosing tile, carpet, exterior stucco colours, finishing, design colours for interior as well. Aside from this she has been my stager and design consultant for 8+ years in my Real Estate organisation. I would highly recommend her.
