Contact The Unruffled Nest
I had contacted Mrs. Wilcox in December of last year by phone and email to follow up on another project she was wanting me to work on. After not hearing back from her (sometimes that happens with clients and when you are in business for yourself, you have to move on) I figured that she was either busy or did not want to continue the project. I reached back out to her a few months later just to say hello and check in to see if she needed my assistance. She responded stating that she was glad I reached out because she wanted me to work on an additional project for her. We went back and forth about availability and I added her to my calendar blocking off the whole afternoon for the day she was available because we had not firmed up a time yet. Unfortunately during this same week my child had to have unexpected surgery. I still had Mrs. Wilcox on my schedule and was planning on meeting her at her house on the agreed upon day. When I went to follow up with her on a time, she stated, "On second thought, let's skip the whole thing. Thank you for your help in the past." I was a little confused by this and explained to her that I had her on my schedule for the agreed upon day, but she no longer wanted to meet.
I hate that we did not have the opportunity to continue working together.
