“I decided to work with an interior designer when I realized that I was not very skilled at developing (and executing) a design concept myself. I am so thakful I found bethany. I worked with Bethany since 2010 including two major projects: One was the challenge of creating a home environment I truly enjoy plus the challenge of making a very spacious but very open concept one plus bedroom condo suitable for a growing family in 2010, the second one was the interior design for a midcentury house in 2014 which involved incorporating and editing existing furniture and design pieces to fit the new space and adding new pieces. This project also involved coordinating painter and electrician (getting bids, checking on progress, handling any issues). Working with Bethany was a true pleasure. She is a very good listener and communicator, and quickly understood my needs and taste. All the work (initial meeting, measurements, design, etc) was done very promptly and efficiently. She came up with wonderful concepts always keeping in mind function, eshetics and budget - in a very balanced way. She was open to listen and incorporate some ideas that I had, but she also made it very clear when she felt strongly about a design decision that I may have had some doubts or questions initially. - and in retrospect I have to say that she was always right. Some of the pieces that she suggested such as the lights and rugs are now my most beloved parts of the house. Working with Bethany it is clear that she absolutely loves her work and that she will make sure that the clients are absolutely happy with the result but also with the process. I for myself can say that this was true. I will definitely work with her again in the future.”
