“"After a long search we found Jane Ann. It was our lucky day! We were in hopes of designing a home you didn't see in St. Louis everyday. What we wanted was more of a European look, something you would find in the countryside of Italy or France or in Carmel, California. Jane Ann had not done a home exactly like we had envisioned, but what she had done, were unusual homes, that answered the specific vision of her clients. By looking at her portfolio, we knew she didn't have one style, but the ability to be OPEN MINDED and to LISTEN to client's ideas and to be able to bring those ideas to life. Jane Ann is the consummate professional. She is a great listener, practical in her approach, a great designer, and a good referee when two spouses don't see eye-to-eye. She has the ability to let you know your ideas have been heard, and that she will do all she can to make your vision a reality. “We love love loved this company. We had a pipe burst in the wall last winter and they did an amazing job. Doing demo, and getting the new floor down and the wall that was saturated fixed. This sept my son flooded the bathroom and we ended up with a bad leek in the basement. 2 guys from the company came over to my house on Friday at 5 to get the ceiling removed so we wouldn’t have any mold.”

“Donna, Allan, and their architectural support team are amazingly and refreshingly personal, creative, professional, and responsive. They were able to take an old 70s ranch with all its oddities and convert it into a new craftsman style home. They listened carefully over many conferences to come up with a creative design, worked within our budget to get us what we needed, revised and revised patiently to get it perfect, and then followed up with on the job supervision and sometimes substantive changes on the fly, including invaluable help with the governmental review process. They all worked so well with our construction crew, who had their cell numbers for on the spot questions about plans or problems, of which, one can imagine, there were many. Thanks to Donna's architectural design (the neighbors are truly in awe of the front elevation and interior transformation), Allan's meticulously drafted plans (the city review board and fire teams said they had never seen such meticulous detail), and the respectful collaboration with all involved (we are all still talking to each other after what ended up being a tedious, four year project), we now have the transformed home we wanted when we started: solid as a rock and nearly soundproof, aesthetically consistent with the older parts of the house, and the openness, light, and functionality of a new home, even if it all drove Donna and Allan crazy sometimes trying to get it for us! They did it all with a smile, and with exceptional professionalism. They certainly went the distance for us, and are just an awesome team. They have my highest recommendation as an architectural firm.”

“Ladd Suydam Contracting (LSC) did fantastic work in remodeling / updating our kitchen and entire 1st floor. From the beginning, Ladd and his team were professional and responsive. Ladd helped design and plan the entire project from scratch. The craftsmanship from LSC was superb. The team cares and does high quality work. The project was done on budget and on time. The key for me and this project, was the planning. LSC took the time to understand our project and answer all of our questions. When doing big projects there are always unexpected issues (especially when dealing with a 100+ yr old house). LSC experience and knowledge minimized most of these issues from the start. I highly recommend LSC.”

“I converted my attached garage to a family room and built a separate detached garage. Remodeling Experts handled EVERYTHING including the architectural services, installation of a vented fireplace, a wall of custom bookshelves and a desk area. There were no surprises in the budget although I made changes as the process went along and Jim was able to work with me. In fact, because of his experience, he is able to make really nice suggestions in terms of what is trending and how things will work once finished. After this process, I used Remodeling Experts to update my master bath (gutted down to the studs) and then my children's bath. That's my best recommendation - that I continue to use Jim's company. His people are reliable, neat and polite. I'm happy to have them work in my home.”

“Andrew did a great job renovating my small bathroom! He pays attention to details and went above and beyond with the plumbing and structure as well. If you show him what you want, he’ll recreate it as much as he can to the “T”! I would definitely recommend him and go for his services again! Even my cat loves it!”

“Our experience with Las Aguilas Contracting was a bit unusual, because we had a fairly standard bath converted into a specialty one for a recovering invalid. These folks extended every courtesy for my husband, who had neck surgery. They waited to start full remodeling until all the special equipment was available, allowing full access to the toilet and vanity every night, while converting the bath area into a walk-in shower with fold down bench. A riser for the commode was located, and a vanity with special plumbing, Finally, non-slide tiles were installed across the room. They did a fantastic job--their workmen often working on the week-end, on budget. We will use them again on our next remodeling project.”

“We hired TXR to build our home on empty land that we had purchased. TXR came out to the building site several times to survey it and look at it to get ideas on how to situate the home. Their architect listened to what we wanted in the house and he drew up plans that were perfect the first time. The architect drew the plans specifically to fit on the piece of property to maximize every view of the lake and made sure every room had a lake view. TXR then oversaw the building of the house, doing many things themselves and subcontracting for electricity, plumbing, cement etc. They met with us often and kept us up to date on everything going on. They provide receipts of every bid and money spent so you always know where the money is going. Everyone at TXR is easy to work with and they work hard to make sure their customers are taken care of. We would build with them again without hesitation.”

“Ken, Thank you for delivering everything I asked for during our basement renovation project. You helped us update our ugly, non-functional basement into something that we could be proud of by turning it into a space where we could have room for guests, an office for my husband, a work-out area, a media room, an updated bathroom, a computer area and extra storage for my teenage son, an art space for my teenage daughter, a kitchenette for morning coffee and parties, floor to ceiling pantry cabinets for extra storage, a hearth area that is Pinterest worthy and all within budget and on my timeline. In addition to that, the new laminate flooring, agreeable grey painted walls, new white trim, and painted black ceilings are fabulous. Now, I'm a realist and this isn't my first renovation project. I knew there would be extenuating factors that could cause the timeline to extend and surprises that might increase the agreed-upon budget. But, in general, everything went smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with your guys, Dilshat and Farouz. They were some of the HARDEST WORKING people I have ever met. I could always count on them to be here on time and I felt comfortable with them in my home and knew that they were doing exactly what they needed to be doing to get the job done right. Not only were they hard-working, they were incredibly skilled, especially with things like tile work. My shower looks absolutely beautiful and the custom niche they created is one of the best I've ever seen. Something I particularly appreciated about you was your communication. You always answered the phone when I called and returned texts promptly. Additionally, you checked in frequently to let me know your timeline and let me know if you were ever running late. I would use Apex Homes and your team for jobs in the future. Not only that, I would recommend you to friends and family. Thanks again Ken and I'm sure we'll see you again when I decide to do another home improvement project! Respectfully, Jessica G.”
