Haddon Heating & Cooling

“Wow! After 20 years of using a buck stove to warm a 3 story 1920 craftsman house, I hired the Haddon company to install a new central heating system. The house is odd shaped with many unusual structural situations to run ducts through. I got exactly what I asked for. Since, my home has been warm and cozy. The big surprise came when I got my PGE bill. It was a fraction of the former bills, almost 1/3 of what I paid previously. The central heating system has almost paid for itself. Haddon employees were so pleasant to have around. They hauled away my old furnace and a broken water heater, too. They left my home and basement cleaner than they found it. LOVE this company! They are honest and will give you a square deal. They will also work with you with time, structural space and money constraints. I called them about a problem 5 years later and they immediately responded. (it was a loose fuse and all they had to do was tighten it.) Great Company!”

B Green Service

“Great company! After confirming with PG&E that the awful smell from our vent was not a gas leak, we called B Green Service late in the evening and got a call back first thing in the morning. Dan was helpful, a good communicator, and arranged for a team to come out immediately. The workers were courteous, prompt, also great communicators, and immediately figured out the situation. They were upfront with the potential costs, and their recommendations, solved the problem (a dead rat), and also disinfected the vents for us. We are very pleased all around, and are happy to recommend them to all our friends and family!”

“Moore Heating and Air Conditioning just finished installing forced air heating and AC in a house I just bought. The house was built in the 80s and had no central heat and no duct system. Because of how the house was built, the unit had to be installed outside and 2 separate duct systems had to run to the crawl space and the attic as it was impossible to connect the second floor to the first one. The job was very challenging. Moore's crew worked for 4 full days. They had to build some custom boxes to direct the duct from the outside, through a cabinet to the crawl space and another box from the crawl space for the return air. It rained for 2 days. The workers kept putting on booties to be indoors and taking them off to go outside, minimizing the dust and dirt in the house. They also protected my brand new hardwood floors. They wore the booties for the 4 days, even though it had stopped raining. Every day they left the house clean. I was very pleased with the project. The independent person in charge of checking the energy leakage said that Moore was by far the best of the 40 companies he works with. The excellent reviews had me choose Moore. I will add mine very shortly. Moore offers a 25 month interest free plan, that is very helpful. The new generation thermostat was installed. It is user friendly and offers some very nice features such as Emergency Heating, for when the house has been left cold after a vacation, that kicks the two heating systems (compressor and another one) at once to heat the house quicker. The whole system is the most quiet I have heard so far. This is in part because the unit is outside. But I felt the cold air coming from the vents well before I heard it. Because the project was so challenging and the house was not prepared for forced air, the total cost was pretty expensive, but I do not regret having used Moore.”

“Mike Hassler came by to give me an estimate for a central heating system. He took a big picture view of all the work I'd need to have done and gave me ideas for how to install it for the future. I ended up having a heating system cleaning done for now but feel like the company knows what its doing and as a small family company will do it right.”

“Our first project in February 2012 was a complete energy retrofit with new heating, air conditioning, ducts and insulation. Keith started with an energy audit and did not finish until the post installation audit showed minimal energy loss. Their crew was excellent, respectful, helpful, careful with our cats and cleaned up daily. Keith finished the project on time and under budget. Sharon did all of the paperwork to make sure we received the entire $11,000 energy rebate that we qualified for. The result is that our home is comfortable every day with no hot or cold areas and we use one third less energy. We are completely satisfied and happy with this project and recommend them without qualification. Because of the success of the energy retrofit, we hired Eco for a complete kitchen and family room remodel that was completed in October 2012. The result is spectacular! I have a beautiful and totally functional new kitchen and a remodeled family room and dining area because Scott worked with us on the design, made great suggestions and most importantly helped us keep costs down so that I got everything I wanted and stayed in budget. He removed a fireplace and closet, made our new IKEA cabinets look custom and the lighting, quartz counter tops, tile back splash and trim were done well. His crew and subcontractors were professional and did high quality work. We recommend Eco Performance Builders, Keith and Scott O'Hara, without qualification. They are honest, highly skilled good people who work until the job is done right. Contact them to put you in touch with us if you have any questions about our projects, want to see pictures or want to look at their work. Fran Walsh and Randy Jones”
