“We had Laurenzo come and look at our home and discuss what we wanted (A/C) in the top 3 bedrooms and 1 unit in the great room on the main floor. He suggested a heat pump as the easiest system to install and more economical way of cooling down the house. After giving us an estimate, which we knew wasn't going to be cheap, we went with them because of the many reviews we'd read. I think the measure of a company is when things don't go as planned. Laurenzo and his brother were able to upgrade our unit (with no extra charge to us) and spent 2 days installing it. We were so happy to have the A/C as it was the start of a very hot summer. The unit is quiet and the wall mounts are not eye sores in the room. The unit worked fine for about a week and then suddenly it stopped. Of course we were very unhappy about it, but Laurenzo worked hard to provide us with excellent service to get the job done. After checking the electrical, etc he determined that we just got a lemon of a heat pump and got us a new one that has been working fine. We were worried that he might be the sort of contractor that takes your money and leaves you hanging if there are problems, but he really does care that everything is right by you and gave us his word he would take care of us and he did. I have no reservations about recommending Laurenzo and his company. He really does care about his customers and works hard to provide quality service. I hope this review is helpful to other people looking for a trustworthy, quality company to do work for them.”

“My furnace quit December 26th. I called Big Valley on the morning of the 27th and they came out that day to look at it. Because my furnace was quite old I decided to have it replaced, which meant we would be without heat until that was done. The long weekend was coming and I dreaded the thought of my family (including my 19-month-old grandson) being without heat for days (it was below zero outside!). But Big Valley came early on the 29th to get the job done that day-they were here by 8:30 AM. To complicate matters, that day a pipe had broken on my new washing machine box, but Kyle turned off the water, replaced the washing machine box, and turned the water back on, saving me from having to frantically try to get a plumber before the holiday. This was fantastic service! I would recommend Big Valley Heating to anyone!”

This was a major job and resulted in frequent call outs and long hours. He was 100 percent reliable and efficient. I have nothing but praise for his business ethics and perseverance handling a very challenging problem. I believe he is the only master plumber on the Sunshine Coast and his estimates reflect this. However, I would not consider hiring any other plumber in the future.”

“We hired Barron after getting estimates from 4 companies for ductless heat pumps. They were not the lowest price, but their estimate included the whole job, not just heat pump installation with electrical work separate. (Beware of this. It's a recipe for disaster.) On the appointed day, a cast of thousands of self-starters appeared at our house. The work was completed in two short days. They returned twice. Once because of a misunderstanding about what we wanted (they paid), and once because we decided we wanted something slightly different (we paid $82). We recommend this company to all our friends. No one has ever been disappointed.”
