“Nice Home Services did a fantastic job from start to finish. The temperature in our home is the same on all 3 levels. We love it. No more hot and cold rooms. “I called BGE HOME because my heating system went out. This was during a prolong freez period where the temp dropped into the low teens. My water pipes also froze. The HVAC tech came down, but because of frozen pipes, he could not service the boiler. He did not charge for the visit and helped turn off various water valves and my gas water heater. He gave me advice on how to take as much pressure off the water pipes, so that hopefully they would not burst. He then made sure I had a tech come down as soon as the temp rose above 32 degrees. The system was fixed, and I also had one of their plumbers come down to repair the water pipe. From the various people I spoke with on the phone to the techs on the job, I have to say they were all professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. On one visit, because I could not get off of work, the tech spent time on the phone with me until he understood the problem and was certain he knew where all the valves in my basement were located. That helped my wife stay calm and not have to try to figure out a hundred year old system of pipes and valves. I was so pleased with their service and pricing, that I signed up for a yearly contract. I have never felt this good about a company in the almost 25 years I have lived in the house. Thanks BGE HOME!”

“During a bathroom remodel we found a leaking shower valve. We completed their online service request form (http://www.myplumber.com/schedule-service/). After 4 days without a response we called and were helped immediately. We also requested a replacement spigot and adding a shut-off valve so it wouldn't freeze. Work: new shower valve, spigot w/shut-off They provided same day service and actually came early. The plumber showed up within about an hour of our service call. He was courteous, wore shoe covers, took time to explain the work and generated a quote in a few minutes. The quality of work was outstanding, the best I have ever seen, and he took the time to explain all work and the new Moen hardware. The only thing preventing a 5-star is the price. I don't mind paying for convenience and quality but $1800 for 2 hours of work is excessive.”
