A/C Repair & HVAC Contractors Near New Orleans

“After dealing with the typical mediocre HVAC contractors typical of my area, a trusted friend recommended we contact Doug's Refrigeration. At the time, we were seeking a solution to "sick house" caused by mold and excess humidity. A 3rd party consultant determined that the previous contractor had "grossly oversized" our HVAC system. Combined with a very leaky, inefficient duct system and installation, it created the perfect conditions for mold growth and sick house syndrome. Doug's sent a consultant named Scott Abadie. After interviewing dozens of contractors, Scott was the first to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the problem, how to correct it, and most importantly, how to prevent it from happening again. 1 year later I continue to be amazed by the work performed and the tremendous impact it had on my family's health and comfort. Properly designed and installed HVAC completely changed our home. A fringe benefit is that the high efficiency equipment they specified has reduced our electricity costs by more than $2,000 per year. Over the life of the system, utility savings alone will pay for the system! It was a tremendous value! On top of it all, I've come to realize that when Doug's says they stand by their work 100%, they mean it. Customer satisfaction is their top priority. Doug's wasn't the cheapest proposal I received but I had learned the consequences of going with the typical "low price" contractor. The lowest price usually isn't and the cost can be measured in ways far more important than money. You can have good, fast or cheap. Pick any two!”

“I called this business in order to have my air conditioners serviced. They were prompt and timely when it came to my appointment. The service tech was courteous and had the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend their services.”

“We needed a new air conditioner and all the terminology was very confusing to me. Someone from Northshore A/C & Heating came out to my house and sat on the couch explaining it all to me. This was VERY helpful. Their service was excellent and the price beat another well known name in town. Because of price, I had the air conditioner replaced one year and the condensing unit replaced the next year. Not only do the parts have warranties, but they also give a 1yr labor warranty!”
