Sky's ability to collaborate effectively with our builder ensured that the design was executed exactly as intended, without any compromises on quality or detail. While Sky's engagement did come at a cost, the value he delivered was absolutely worth it. “Tim and his business Vital Build have been an absolute pleasure to work with! Undergoing a knock-down rebuild we have been both comforted and blown away by his professionalism. He has done a brilliant job in building a house to suit our lifestyle and aim of being more sustainable and reducing our environmental impact. His communication with us has been brilliant. He has been both clear and transparent through the entire process, taking the time to explain the reasons why an idea/concept is or is not possible. He has worked very well with a number of other professionals including our architect, structural engineer, passive house certifier, etc. Tim has done a marvellous job in arranging additional trades (eg. demolition, plumbing, bricklayers, electrical, etc) to seamlessly complete required works in an order that has not caused delay. Tim has added value across the entire build. If things didn't work out as expected (eg. discontinued items), Tim didn't just tell us, he provided some alternative like for like options, which eased the burden of the situation immediately. Tim also provided clear budget outlines of the build and kept to these. He has also provided clear summaries of the variations we agreed to along the way, clearly showing where we have received money back (eg. changing to an alternate product) and owe for variations (eg the driveway which Tim asked if we wanted him to arrange for us). In summary, we couldn't be happier about Tim and Vital Build. Our neighbours have also been very impressed with his professionalism and standards set, which has also been very pleasing to hear. The site has been kept clean throughout the build and each of the trades Tim has arranged have been also worked to a high standard. The quality of work completed by each has been magnificent!”
