“Having seen some of her work, I first contacted Catherine to help me “pull together“ a couple of rooms and make some color choices. From her first visit in my home, she made herself indispensable far beyond a quick pull together. Though I am comfortable with making my own choices, having used her services multiple times now, I wouldn’t consider making design or decor investments without first consulting Catherine. She makes a practice of bringing a variety of beautifully personalized and unique options to our projects and remains respectful of budget and timeline boundaries. Her installers and contractors are experienced and professional. Even if it’s just through the quick adjustment of decor pieces, floor lamps, or drapery positions, each time Catherine visits our home, she leaves it looking and feeling more stylish and comfortable.”

“I hired dovetail group to help with our kitchen renovation. From the beginning, I felt very comfortable working with Kayla and Liz. They are organized, friendly and efficient. This was our first big home project and they made it at seamless as possible. Liz helped me pick out all of the finishings and I thought she did a fantastic job taking into account the style of the rest of my home. It is clear Dovetail Group has an extensive professional network as evidenced by the relationships they have with their subcontractors and everyone at the showrooms. They adhered to my budget and I never felt pressure to overspend. They also had great knowledge of not only the aesthetics of the materials but also the quality. The whole process was easy and stress-free from beginning to end.”

“I used Winland Designs on a limited basis, not a full scale design and she gave me exactly what I needed for my space. I have a new home but with existing furniture that I didn't want to replace and Emilee was able to work with me on a design that would fit the space and our lifestyle and make the room more cozy and less like a builder grade home. I contacted her initially on a more thorough design for the living room and possibly bedroom but after thinking a bit more, I needed help with the design and less about managing the vendors coming into the space. so I ended up with the E-Design where I took the measurements of the space and pictures of the existing room and design and then had a Pinterest board of ideas I liked. She came up with a new layout to the furniture, more decorative pieces, and a better wall colour for the space. The paint colour is a great addition and really makes the space feel like a home. After the initial design concept, I wanted another option for a mirror and rug and a fake plant to be added and Emilee provided exactly what we were looking for. I would say we ended up buying about 80% of the items and used the paint colour recommended and it turned out great! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures but I would definitely use Winland Designs again and have told a few friends about how easy the design process was!”

She was with me every step of the way on my kitchen renovation project - design, obtaining quotes, finding my perfect backsplash, colors, floor selection, working close with the contractors, you name it! She worked hard at finding and implementing exactly what made me happy while always being mindful of the cost. The best part is that I had so much fun along the way! I would love to use her services and expertise again -- I would recommend her to my closest friends”
